| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Is it just me or did this fight in the manga seem so much longer? I got the impression in the manga that the Raikage was a total boss and it took quite alot to take him down. In the anime this fight lasted one measly episode. I think the episodes in the series are structured a little different then in the manga, because i remember reading how all of their battles played out together, not one battle after another like its been showing. It looks like i was let down, i was hoping kabuto's trump card to be in this episode, i guess now and it looks like the next episode is going to have some filler. I seriously would not mind them extending some of these battle's like they did with the 7 swordsman of the mist, who cares if it is filler. These one episode battles for these strong legendary kage's is just a sad sight to see. |

| Yeah, I expected 3rd Raikage's fight to stretch over another episode at least but it was wrapped up in this one. I thought it was funny how the ended with Tsuchikage being shot and I had terrible bouts of deja vu! Thought the two Hidden Sand fangirls were pretty funny! |

They might be hurrying up the Sixth Coffin's appearance, which at this rate would be the end of next episode of the start of the one after, hopefully the earlier. Also, I thought it was nice that they wrapped this up in one episode. We don't want dragged out battles and this one was taken care of quite brilliantly. P.S. It seems Naruto's got himself a couple more admirers. Valther said: so was'nt that the same ending as last week? i wonder how many episodes they will have the same ending There's a reason for them re-using the same ending from last week. Both battles actually took place at the same time and most of last week's episode were parts that were thrown in by Pierrot. In the manga, this week's battle is shown first and it flashes to Gaara being seen with his shield like that and then later Tsuchikage destroys the illusion. |

| That Dodai guy was pretty pimp helping Naruto like that, he would of made a great Supporting character! That was my main hope for this WAR Arc was that we would see all of the ninjas of the Shinobi Villages banding together like in the scene that we saw Dodai and Naruto falling and him using a quick jutsu to distract the Third Raikage. That actually showed that other ninjas can do useful stuff too! Why is the hottest girl in this show a Filler character? (Long black haired girl that was assistant to Temari)  Naruto was able to beat Third Raikage's speed by just using Sage Mode? LOL ***The main thing I am REALLY confused about is, are all of these Naruto battles just his clones fighting? (from the episode where Naruto joins the war and sends out like 30-50 Clones to all the Battle Fronts) I would have thought that he would of dispersed them in the fight against Itachi & Nagato because of how intense that was. |

He'll appear in the next episode and really starts just owning shit. But these little fights are really agitating me, i just want to get to the point where the 6th coffin comes out so we can get the "real" fun. These revered shinobi should put more of a fight though, i mean they are freaken kage's for god sakes. This is a perfect example how kishimoto didn't carefully plan out his story so well and instead used edo tensei as an excuse to close up certain plot stories with these characters. Making them seem insignificant, its the same old rehash from the moment the war began, but that will soon change very soon thankfully. |

I mean, they're fighting against two current Kage and one almost-perfect Jinchuuuriki (of the Kyuubi nonetheless), not to mention they're using a lot of Shikaku's strategies as well. But agreed, they aren't being used to their full potential. At least he will save us (and the war and Naruto in whole) soon. |

| Finally a very good episode that had as little filler as possible. Look forward to next week and the up and coming fights, i just hope that they are all well animated/put together. I really dislike those filler characters; they are unfunny and are not shinobi in the slightest way. They are completely oblivious to the fact that they are in a war and that people are being killed around them, I just wish that they were not such a big part of some episodes. |

Sasuke used to be the thinker and the one who got all the admirers and Naruto, the one who runs into things headfirst and the one who always got shunned. Now it's Naruto who does the thinking and has got the admirers and Sasuke who spams the shit out of a single technique (Susano'o) without any thought and is hated by everyone else. |

At the current pacing, we should see Sasuke in an episode or two, but before he's fully back in play it might take another 10 episodes or so after that. The new game coming on the 5th, Storm 3, covers the War past where the anime currently is, and will feature Sasuke's return. The game will have a good 2-3 month lead on the anime, so if you want to be spoiled by a game that tells the story well, pick it up. |

| I can't wait for the next few episodes, those who read the manga know why. And I thought this episode was great, I really liked the fight it was awesome, I'm glad that the fight was done in 1 episode and they didn't make it too long like in the manga which was 2 or 3 chapters I think and the 2 gaara fangirls were funny. |

That is why manga readers need to shut their trap a little. lol Tone it down, it kind of looses that suspense when anime viewers witness it because they are already suspecting something important so its not like its going to hit you with a ton a bricks like it was to us when we first read it in the manga, no one had a clue, which opened up the largest theoretical debate in the series. At least no spoilers have came out yet, but im sure when more surprises happen much later on, people won't be able to help them selfs by spoiling or some random troll will come in here like they did with one piece. Oh and "yhunata" your getting a little carried away dropping just the slightest hints, people can pick up on it, edit your post, were not a bunch of idiots you know. Other people are saying its going to be impacful, exciting, etc, but your actually answering a question by dropping a hint and not in a spoiler. That really isn't necessary. Just be patient and and wait till the next episode. Just a warning to anime viewers, be careful well treading these forums. |

The manga is still pretty far ahead even though we are on the same arc still. Well i hope its actually ends up being relevent to the war and maybe extends some fights or something, i don't know, that would be better then getting something that completely takes your focus away from the war, with the exception of the chikara force filler because that was just brilliant, but we won't get a high budget filler arc like that again |

He was fighting one of the strongest Kage in history (one who could fight a tailed beast without the special abilities of the Uchiha or the Senju nonetheless). Seriously, if he had breezed through this, you would have been complaining that he was overpowered. |
