| I don't think so. It comes just short of being good. The action just didn't cut it for me. I only watched the first season, but I heard it only gets much worse after that. |

| I watched few episodes out of this and in my opinion it is sooo boring. There absolutely noting interesting in this anime. I don't like episodic animes (unless it is ecchi like to love-ru) I'm also surprised that some people recommend this sh*t for people who like code geass and Death note. |
| im currently watching episode 14. at first, I thought it was going in a good direction the first couple episodes but some episodes are pretty boring. and some are aa bit confusing and Im not one to be confused. well the nick rocket thing was kinda left unanswered haha. But yeah Im not too much of a fan of episodic stuff so maybe thats why its not catching my attention much. I like hei and some episodes have some decent action but i feel its potential is a lot higher than it really is. I heard the anime is completely unrelated to the manga for the most part though, anyone know if this is true? If so, I have a hunch the manga story would be a lot better. hopefully not as episodic either. |

| Yes, it's worth it. It takes more than one watch to get it, but the episodic stuff actually does matter in the end. Each is like a case study on contractors, how they differ, what makes them what they are. Without that, you don't really get why the show was called Darker than Black (hint: they "dream of a darkness darker than black..."). |
