Unfortunately I can only answer from my perspective , I can't speak for everyone but some feel that if they started it they might as well finish it I guess, also it might fall in their time slots or they may have nothing else to watch so they continue. Idk those are the only answers I can really think of. |

| Like I said I could only come up with an answer coming from my own position which was to answer about just watching the show however posting is another thing entirely. However SAO isn't the only thing that this sort of thing happens to as long as it's entertainment it will always be under scrutiny, the more popular something the more others jump to see what all the fuss is about and when it doesn't appeal to them they just have the urge to voice their opinions. Also I assume people just want to hop on the discussion and not feel left out or give their reasoning and opinion. Like Ts knows SAO is not my cup of tea but I'm not going to stop others from enjoying what they like . If I was younger, like 16 again this show would have been so badass to me but as one gets older their tastes change . However that doesn't apply to ever some people taste doesn't really fade. I continue to watch the show because I like to keep an open mind. SAO idea really does sound like it would be an awesome LN or book concept but remember not everyone has read the LN so they judge based solely off the anime alone. Before jumping on me for the last comment, I'm just trying to explain how I would feel in my situation and maybe some others can relate not giving excuses for all By now you all know a every ones definition of boredom is uniquely different. I might not find things as entertaining as another person, but could keep experiment and see if I find the same enjoyment. |

| I think the problem with the anime...it doesn't really have any unforgettable scenes (well outside sugou lawls). I would say maybe the gleameyes fight, but it's really nothing special and the music that plays in it plays any time Kirito is doing something semi-heroic. Which makes all his heroic scenes feel like they all have the same value. I can't say the emotional scenes, cuz well...they just aren't done well and are kinda hard to take seriously. The listening to Sachi scene would have been well done...if we had known her character for more than 10 minutes maybe it would be easier to care. I guess the Suguha finding out about Kirito scene is possibly the best though...it's nothing unforgettable though. |
| I don't have any favourite scene. If it wasn't for the subforums in MAL and all those flames wars, I would have dropped this anime after the Lizbeth stuff. |

| There are really many scenes I won't forget about SAO. There was the sudden ressurrection of Kirito during his with Kayaba, their discussion afterwards, Kirito telling Silica, she just looks like his sister and wel there are sure more. But probably one of the best scens and a scene with a strong impact, was Sachis Gift to Kirito on Christmas, because that led to a big character development of Kirito. |
