| Aww. I enjoyed it , especially for an ONA. i watched the whole thing in one sitting though, so it worked better for me that way. I probably wouldn't have liked watching it with breaks inbetween the very short episodes. 7/10 from me. i'll be watching the movie when it comes out :) |

| I liked it, it had a strong ending, a very Animal Farm-esque vibe. For an ONA, and a kiddy one at that, very strong. I gave it a 7/10 |

| I was surprised at how much I liked this series, its good for a short quick burst of anime when you don't have the time to watch a regular one. Loved it!!!! |
| I liked it. I give it a 7 of 10. I liked it but not enough to have it compare to the other series that I've bestowed 8's and 9's on. Someone should get chocolate, ice cream, or confectionery sponsors.. I felt like I was watching a commercial this episode. |

| I think that it's rather cute :D I kind of want to see the movie version of it (which, I cannot find by the way XD); the anime was apparently based off of a book and it also has a manga series. |

| By far one of the dumbest plot I have ever seen in my whole life. Which is sad, it takes itself extremely seriously. So we have a totalitarian government, political prisonners, a repressive police, an illegal rebellious movment and in center of all that we have children and... chocolate!! Is it me or is it putting serious matters into a childish plot? Is it really necessarily to destroy everything and to risk their life for... chocolate? Is there no better and more pacifist solution than this? This utter crap is promoting violence and illegal rebellion. And lol @ glorifying chocolate in the point of risking their life for it. It's just chocolate godamn!! It's not sweet, childish and charming, it's just completely sick and wrong. Why did I waste my time with it... I don't know who is the author of this but he is like the best troll ever... |
| I really loved the idea for this anime. I understood and could feel the pain of all those people bearing a life without chocolate ( I tired to get on a diet once). But seriously, I see your point HooHiraiBunny. All that repressions, people getting thrown to jail for nothing, tyranny and all the rest of the effin serious stuff is not very enjoyable or understandable for kids. On the other side, predictable plot, childish characters (adults too) and an ending like from a kid's story are not things that older audience enjoys. So, I only liked it in a 5/10. Imo, this anime has too much or not enough for all types of audiences. |

| There is supposedly a lot of symbolism going on, and seriously glorify anarchy and revolution for kids. But I liked Chocolate Underground, where kids are kids who grow up (sorta). There isn't much of the whiny stereotypes which perpetuates some of the popular Anime series nowadays (Harem genre, I'm looking at you). Chocolate Underground is great for packing enough action and story within 5 minutes. |

| Feel like eating chocolate now! But is seems quite exaggerated that they don't mind being jailed or killed for the sake of chocolate. I thought the mini may-december infatuation that Huntly and Smudger had towards Louise was pretty cute. Too bad she only had eyes for Blades. |
