| I'm wondering this because my friends told me that the ending of the anime is a heart-wrenching one, and I'm the kind of person who hates unhappy endings... However should that stop me from knowing how this anime should end? So far I've been enjoying the whole story of Clannad and Clannad After Story, is it worth it to be "hurt" in order to finish this anime? Like seriously i friggen cried |

| Its a happy ending, it may piss you off though. |
| You WILL be "hurt" halfway through the anime but it will probably subside towards the end. Just grab a tissue box before you continue watching, you'll need it. |

| yeah, ive youve loved the show thus far an been pulled into its world, like i was, itll chew ya up for awhile with intensely sad moments, but i think its worth goin through the emotional landmine field ot get to the ending, just be sure to have that ol tissue box handy for the latter half of the season |

| Personally, I found Clannad and the first few arcs of AS to be rather predictable, based on stock characters undeveloped past their stereotypes. Hence, I found myself rolling my eyes past most of the drama so far. To me, they've just felt like any other drama/slice-of-life. But I've heard AS gets much better later on, so I'm really hoping for something different soon, though I have my doubts. |
