| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ehhhh I don't think it was necessary for them to have the commander actually participate in a fight. Apparently the preview shows Ichigo was not affected by this negation thing... or he somehow broke through it with his super sekret vaizard skills. That'll just prove that he's stronger than the commander? It'll be pretty damn stupid if that were to actually happen. |

| Amagi's weapon negates shinigami abilites. But since Ichigo has Vizard abilities as well they probably don't negate those. |

| Yeah... lets make it look like the Captain Commander is finally going to kick all sorts of ass and then immediately have his power be negated so he can't do anything... awesome! This episode was a disappointment from that perspective. We've only seen the Captain Commander fight (two captains at once with his Shikai) for a brief stint in the Soul Society Arc and he was barely in the second movie as well. I was hoping for a full episode of him and Amagai going at it for awhile. I guess they have to do whatever they can to make Ichigo look as badass as possible. Stupid fillers!!!!! Also, with Amagai's bankai release why were the other Captains unable to feel out his reiatsu? He was masking it during his transportation. I highly doubt he could mask it and go into bankai form since that really doesn't make any sense. Not to mention Captain Commander also released his shikai form so wtf?? I know they could at least sense that! |

| It really did piss me off how the captains were standing beside each other talking like they were in a FU**** picnic, what really really pissed me off that no one even cared that the about captain-commander when he released his sword, I mean if they sensed such huge-ass reiatsu, aren't they supposed to move their asses directly to the captain-commander..... omg i mean gosh i know this is a filler but there is a limit at how stupid the filler writers can be!! and also how the filler bodyguards rescued the damn princess in front of amagai and old man yama totally ruined the moment. |

| Enryuu's voice was just a cheap attempt to make the viewer laugh. It was dumb. As soon as Amagai mentioned that his Bakkoutou could negate shinigami powers, the image of Ichigo in his Vizard form came to mind; they shouldn't have showed that in the previews, would've created more "suspense". I was starting to like Amagai... too bad he turned out to be a bad guy; i didn't foresee that at all. I agree with what most people here said about the other captains sensing either the Captain-Commander's or Amagai's reiatsu; if they can even sense a Menos's reiatsu from REALLY far away, how come a captain's bankai and the captain-commander shikai can be totally overlooked?! I'm looking forward for the next episode, to finally see some action. I'd wish for these fillers to end and then, again, "teleport" Ichigo in some miraculous way back to Las Noches. (Have you noticed how he duplicated himself? He's supposed to be in Las Noches yet he's in Soul Society, too.) |

| ...and wasn't it dull? Four captains and Yoruichi chatting carelessly about Amagai's betrayal, Amagai telling story about his sad childhood and in the end Ichigo with his not even convincing moralizing speech. Amagai with his almighty lightBakuttou just made me laugh... I remember Ukitake and Shunsui were afraid of figting together against Ol'Yama, so I doubt Amagai could really be match for him... but we have to have an excuse for Ichigo using his Vizard powers, of course :| I only hope that fight between Ichigo and Amagai in next episode would be more interesting... |

| well i see this arc as beinga side story. this episode, well on one side i'm happy we got some background, motive on Amagai, but other then that, it was dull.. I really wanna see Genryusai's bankai and fighting but i guess they don't wanna spoi those giant things in a filler. Yeh the moment Amagi started about negating shinigami powers i knew Ichigo would save the day, as the masked vizard. I suppose it doesn't really matter that everyone sees his vizard form since there i no connection to the main storyline. On to the next episode,where i hope they cut donw on the chat and get on with the fight |

| There might just be something quite interesting in the next episode, though. While talking to a friend of mine, we came to the conclusion that maybe, JUST MAYBE, Ichigo will be forced to let the Vizard side of him take total control of his body in order to beat Amagai (since he's pretty strong, apparently), and that this might end up in Ichigo becoming stronger and developing new, more interesting techniques. This fight has the potential to be pretty good; hopefully they exploit it. |

| I enjoyed this episode for the most part. I wasn't expecting Amagai's sword to negate Shinigami powers. The problem with this filler arc is that it made Yamamoto seem way too weak. |

The only thing I can see not working on him is Getsuga Tensho. |

| Poor that Amagai turned out to be bad guy. Anyways, I knew from the beginning that something like this will happen since he's a filler character and they just had to get rid off him somewhow. And what's with that poor animation? Sometimes it looks like a slideshow -_-'' |

| i was watching the episode with a couple of friends. i said that i thought we would see his mask and they were arguing that we wouldn't because it wouldn't make sense for him to show it in Soul Society - which i agree to an extent because wouldn't the other Shinigami be able to sense him? it is a hollow form after all. we were thinking that they might be transported to Hueco Mundo but it's a big stretch. however, if they do this it could be a transition. yes, it is a filler arc and technically this won't effect the Hueco Mundo scenario since it has nothing to do with what is really happening in the storyline. i'm just wondering how they will transition this arc back to what we are all waiting on. ^^ just two more episodes to go: "Duel! Amagai vs. Ichigo" & "The Fallen Shinigami's Pride". i can't wait for the new season. |

| I really think this arc wasn't thought through well enough.It had potential though...for a filler. Anyway, this episode was full of surprises. But those surprises made me ask so many questions -.- Good thing this is filler cuz there are so many wtf scenes. |
| I was also waiting for the classical scene where Ichigo grins and his opponent ask "What's so funny?" and Ichigo does this super awesome move (in this case, put his Hollow mask on), but it NEVER happened DAMNIT. I was watching the episode's timeline during their chitchat and I swear I thought to myself, this fight is so not gonna be in this episode. I was right :( |

| I didn't like this episode, this whole thing seems stupid to me. And it's OBVIOUS that Amagai's power negates the shinigamis' zampakutou's but not Ichigo's vaizard skills... *sigh* the only plus in this situation is that we'll get a nice fight next episode, hopefully. Otherwise, a weak episode |

| LOL Enryuu has such a weird voice! xD I can see why he hardly talked at all. Rofl. Zzzz Amagai's story is cliche I could tell what he was about to say... I somewhat sympathize with him. |
