It looks very nice, maybe try keeping your led sharp that way you get a consistent line, also try not to push down so hard on the paper, after getting your lines the way you want them come back and darken the areas you wish to be darker.

my problem is that I shake a lot, can't do a line properly :s

But thank you very much for the tips, I have to train more drawing, unfortunately I just train my drawing after months without doing anything xD. That is other problem that I have(lazyness)

Well..lets see:

I kinda feel the mouth is too big, and the face seems...what should I call it. Messed up? Like, the eyes, nose and mouth aren't placed correctly on the face so it lookes wrong? :P Just when taking a quick look tho. I know it's just a sketch tho...hope I dont dig my own grave here =)

I loved the hair ^^

That left arm is in a very uncomfortable position. I think it would look more natural to have the elbow facing outward. The right arm seems okay because it is within the limits of the shoulder joint, but that left is really twisted. Remember with arms, elbows face outward more often than in.

I would love to try doing a manga but I get overwhelmed with just coming up with a story much less interesting dynamic poses. I need to hire a writer dammit

That turned out really well! although the top of the gentleman's hair looks a little flat, I think you should of let that go off the page just a little

I agree. It looks good, but her pelvic area looks off. I think her right hand, the one on her hip, is also probably too big. Try to look at some real-life anatomy books too, it helps to know how human bone structure works. Your linework is great though, I still can't get smooth lines, especially on the computer.

But good job trying to challenge forshortening. I avoid it at all costs, hahaha, which isn't good. >>;;

By the way, are we allowed to post non-anime stuff?

Gremori I absolutely agree.... I actually misjudged the scale of the drawing so had to cut out a lot at the bottom part... as for the hair I think I am pretty much unable to correct it now cause I made it look the same as on the photo :/.... next time I'll hopefully remember to leave some space :)))

I actually do quite a bit of drawing and sell it online, but the anime style is very different from my usual stuff (which can be seen on my profile) ... possibly the best lesson ive learned is that anime is not at all easy to do with colored pencils- because of the 3 layers of colors... hence there is a good reason why a lot of people people draw anime digitally :))

Ah yes thanks for pointing that out. I never had proper learning / training of human anatomy (or art in general) and most of the time i draw without caring about it much. so i guess its about time for me to start doing so. Thanks for the advice.
