About the OP, I will just point out some things to make sense of it better.
  • Notice Shu becomes Gai and Gai becomes Shu along with Inori becomes Mana and Mana becomes Inori mind fuck in the spoiler
well? I have suspicions that both spirits will take over either of those persons to make a Deus EX machina miracle at one point. Who knows really. Spiritual possession through DNA.

  • Did I not see in the spoiler
some ofrm of it in Fate Night Stay. What was called tracing or something.

  • They did a pretty good close up of Inori in the spoiler
looks to be done perfectly at that point.
May edit this later.

I also want to add, what? are they going to rebel against the GHQ's new evil president now?

Well, one thing is for sure, and that is that FunPar is gonna get right on that whole rebelling against GHQ thing, they don't have 1 year to waste, let alone 10.

Why is Shu still such a dick? Trying to save ayase when she made it perfectly clear she can handle herself, let alone neglecting every helpless civilian in doing so.

Gai is kinda a dick for never telling ayase that she could walk again with her void once Shu learns the proper way to extract them. It's gonna suck so hard for her once she turns 18.

ED was pretty bland and the OP sounded like a mashup of 3 of ryo's older songs, much like the first op, but this one also included Un-Go's op. I really wish Ryo would come up with something original and stop using crappy rock n' roll guitar solos as interludes. Oh well.

Lol @ Segai's mask and GHQ just let him give away a mecha to some punks.

I still like My Dearest better.

Ayase's boobs almost got grope.

And I got surprised to see the new GHQ president.

Ayase's void is super cool. Like Lenalee's

well for me I love where it goes...
I love the new opening ..it's gonna be like 1 vs 100

I know it's kind generic but who cares..... I just hope the ending will be good..

PS: Can't wait to see shu's void

That OP is good, but My Dearest is still better. Too much Inori though..ED was bleh. More Ayase + Tsugumi and Shu is less annoying = decent episode, even if its so inappropriate to have it air right after Gai's death. Shuuichirou is still alive as GHQ Pres? Wonder what happened to the blond kid (not Daryl)

Wait so why did Inori look like she was unconscious when Shu drew her void? I thought his new powers allow him to draw peoples voids without them being knocked out.

Other than that I enjoyed the episode. Inori seems to be more full of life now which I enjoy but Shu seemed a bit bland. I feel like that they both could be a bit more sad about Gai's death but whatever, still enjoyed it. Cultural Festival is cliche and I assumed Keido died last episode but I guess not. Looking forward to the next episode where we see Funeral Parlor get back together and raise some hell :D

As for new OP and ED meh. I think the new OP is better than the new ED but I enjoyed the old OP and ED more.

Never even considered the idea of Daryl x Tsugumi until their shared moment this episode...and I must say: I like love it.

Much better plot than I expected after #12, and nice twist in the end. I'm excited for this show again despite Gai's absence.

Loving Ayase's Void, should use those legs of hers all the time then. (smirk)
New OP and ED are okay but I like the first ones better. Character's seem more lively than before and Shu looked a less of a wuss this time though he's still pretty annoying. Scene where Ayase and Shu stood back to back, that was pretty cool. Also, loving how Segai is just trolling everyone and giving the Endlave to those group of guys.

Ultimately ended up preferring both the first opening and ending. The songs were better. Though I guess these two news ones will grow on me. The visuals selected for the opening were nice. Shu got some epic outfit, but they really press on the Shu x Inori concept hard. For the episode I guess my wish of the classmates getting more involved came true. They are really a nice gang, even with their extended characters, Tsugami and Aya. Action was nice this episode. Daryl was great. An excellent start to this second half.

That was quite the ending. I was so hoping that there'll be some kind of 10 year timeskip after this, but the preview says otherwise. Disappointed at that. And Shu's harem is slowly growing. He's adding Ayase to the mix now. Calling it now also, Daryl will eventually have some kind of change of heart and join Shu's side.

And am I the only one that just fucking facepalmed at this? That was just too corny.

Really liked the scenes in the new OP. Shu looks bad-ass.

Yea its gonna suck for Ayase when she hits 18. Going to have to go back to the wheelchair...

Anyone else wondering what Shu's Void would look like? Not that we'll ever get to see it...

Maybe not? That rule was dumb in teh first place. Shu's Void would look like a woman's private part. JK, perhaps something that powers other Voids up:?

I don't think anything was more facepalm-worthy than the previous episode.

Is it time for people to admit that they enjoy watching this show no matter how absolutely ridiculous it is? That's where I feel like I'm at now. I could whine about how inconsistent the writing and plot is, how convenient the Void uses are, and how silly Ayase's "don't look at me when I'm getting back in my chair" was, but the reason I can still watch this is that I'm getting some form of entertainment out of it.
The entertainment just happens to be in the form of the music/visuals and Daryl licking a candy apple.

This was just awful in every aspect.

First off the animation quality was just horrible compared to the first half of the season. Hey Noitama, we didnt need a 1 hr special that recapped the series if you were gonna blow the animation budget on it. I mean everything just looked like trash this episode compared to prior episodes

The pacing was just atrocious. It was quick, allowed nothing to develop, and very segmented. It seems like they are trying to cram things in. Episodes like this are suppose to be slower paced compared to the rest of the season as they are usually break the tension created by the series previously.

This series is a trainwreck. No matter how bad it continues to get I cant look away. Congrats to the writing staff of Guilty Crown. You have somehow failed miserably to rip off Code Geass R2 and made it even worse. (Note I enjoyed R2 a lot, but the series was saved by the ending, R2 was horrid compared to the first season. Still I love Code Geass and enjoyed R2 for the main characters of the series.)

Honestly the only way to fix this series is to slow it down, create a plot instead of missions (ie destroy leukocyte, steal crystal, prevent apoc virus, rescue inori, defeat Mana Ouma and now rescue ppl from Loop 7), Seriously just pick one and tie all of the missions back to it. The Mana Ouma arc coulda been a whole season for the love of god.

I had high hopes for this series as it was showing some promise to be somewhat like Code Geass, but it seems they only intend to rip it off in the worst way possible using everything bad about the series to create Guilty Crown. I pray that they will fix this

Also to those complaining about Shu being a pussy, That is a Good Thing. Its called character development. If they had used the Mana Ouma arc properly and had Gai die, Shu woulda had to man up to save Inori and gain the trust of Funeral Parlor while taking over command of it just like Simon did in Tengen Toppa Guren Lagaan.

If that old fool failed why the hell is he back on Earth doing whatever he pleases? Shouldn't he be dead? In any case it looks like things will pick up considering the fact that now they can't possibly survive for 10 years without outside support; Shu is going to have to do something about the new President or w/e

Can't say much for the new OP/ED... had thought this series would've ended with the last episode, not quite sure how I feel about it being dragged out this long. King power's lol... next he'll be able to pull out everyone's voids at the same time and create the ultimate fighting mecha that will bring peace to loop 7!? meh... hopefully the action picks up and seeing Ayase have legs was a bit nice... albeit unsurprising, the second you hear her say "Gai gave me legs" you already know what her void most likely is -.-

All those people did was whine about Shu never "manning up" instead of watching his character development anyway.

I like the new OP, not as much as the old one, but still good (it is Supercell after all).

I expected a better reason for Ayase being so pissy/sad throughout this ep... And since when is Shuuichirou still alive? I was pretty sure he died.

Nope, this is ''manning up'': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s057eriPEI8

-Tsugumi has enough strength to kick a tall man so hard he flies into other person
-Rushed explanation for plot-hole involving Gai being conscious while his void was out is "BUT MY POWERS CHANGED LAST TIME I THINK"
-Tsugami not recognizing Daryl, an extremely high ranking person in the military that the group she swore into and risks her life for is fighting against, who even does attention-grabbing things like administering public executions, and is the son of the ex-highest (because he's dead now) ranked person in the military period.
-Daryl thinking JUST GLASSES is an adequate disguise to infiltrate the place with "terrorists" who have the power of a small army. LOL.
-RANDOM BAD GUYS attack the school to show them "what a hard world it is"
-Aya's void is conveniently something that enhances herself which is only even possible without her fainting because Shuu's well-thought out explanation of "MY POWERS SUDDENLY CHANGED"
-Three men in an armored truck with guns getting humiliated by an asian girl on rollarblades with a blanket and no weapon

1/5 being generous. This show is only getting worse; right now it's currently so bad that it's... entertaining? Is such a thing even possible? It's so BAD that I enjoy the laughs. I honestly don't understand how a show could possibly be this bad.

Nope, I was just saying ''Guilty Crown'' means , or at least have meant in the first 12 episodes, Shou power of using his friends like objects: that's what ''Guilty Crown'' should mean.
