| Just a general time amount of how long it takes for a manga submission to be approved to be added to the database. I know mods and admins probably have a queue of stuff to go through but I wondered how long the average time takes. I've submitted additions before and they've been added though I don't remember receiving a message that it had. I just kinda had to look it up again and it was suddenly there. Or even if a manga was rejected...do we get a PM about it? |

| The approval process can take anywhere from 5 minutes to a few weeks after you submit something (yes, I'm serious). Ideally we would like to clear all the daily submissions we get, but since all moderators have higher priorities than MAL, the queue eventually starts piling up. Currently we have no way to PM users if their manga submission was approved/denied, so if you want to know what recently has been added to the manga DB, click the "Just Added" link at the top of this page: http://myanimelist.net/manga.php The downside is that it lists entries in the order of their ID numbers, not when they were approved. As for denied entries, read this thread: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=60908 It lists all the entries that have been merged, denied, and removed from the the manga DB. |

| Yeah, anime denial/approval messages work, manga don't. There are currently 122 manga entries awaiting approval, with Cluster being 15 from the bottom, i.e. the 15th newest submission. So please be patient :) |

| Hahah, yeah Cluster still hasn't been approved yet (well, at least it hasn't shown up on the Denial thread yet). I've got 2 more waiting in the wings and submitted another one today. I just want to punch the people that submit all those OEL and unpublished webcomics which clog up the queue. RAGE. Read the guidelines people! I wonder if someone can code a big bold read letters at the top of the submission page about it. I feel like if would cut down shit submissions by 3/4ths. There's no way people can't not avoid it. Or at least a link to the guidelines thread because the submission page has no info about it. :/ No filter or notification for people to realize OELs and other things aren't accepted. |

If a manga publishing company is producing it, it should be permitted on a site for anime and manga. Especially considering a manga I am trying to add to the site sold in the top 10 manga sold for December. | Me, I've already added 3 or 4 manga characters to the database. And the first 2 only took 1 day. My last 2 took 2 days. So it doesn't take long x3 |

It is written so that ANYTHING that is not manga or the listed exceptions is not allowed. OEL is not manhwa or manhua or anything else on that list, thus not allowed. We believe it is clear enough, thanks. It's been working for us quite well so far. You don't have to agree, but that doesn't mean anything will change. Nothing you'd say won't have already been covered in the months of discussion that occurred when the decision was made. And I will not be replaying that either. |
