I prefer subbed strongly.

However, Berserk was fine. So was Hellsing. Nothing else immedietly jumps to mind.

Berserk and Mushishi in English, Pokemon and Moomin in Finnish. Maybe it's only because I first watched them in the language mentioned, but I never got the feeling this could sound better in original Japanese. Which must mean the dubs in these shows were good, to say the least.

Dubs I liked were Samurai Champloo, Haruhi, Moon Phase, and I've only ever watched Miyazaki films dubbed, which are very well done.

for those who mentioned it: really? hellsing? I honestly couldn't stand that dub, maybe I just clicked into some horrible fan-made dub, I think the TTGL dub is pretty well done. But that just might be me. the Death Note one was alright too, but Nears voice was pretty awful.

The first time I watched OHSHC was in English Dub, and I could say it was pretty GOOD. I liked Tamaki's and Kyoya's dub voice better than the original one.

Correction: The dub for Hellsing Ultimate is well-done. The original series is shit.

I actually prefer Death Note's dub. Although it's mainly because it's kind of funny and Misa's voice isn't nearly as annoying in it.

I don't like dubs and whenever I am finding a dubbed anime, I am trying to find a subbed download for it or simply drop it. The only anime I have ever seen dubbed was Dragonauts: The Resonance and the show simply lost its touch...

Just a reminder to everyone, that if you're only going to say you prefer subs to dubs, there's another thread for that. This one is for what dubs do you find good to listen.

Anyway, Big O has really good dub, probably because it has American Cartoon style art so it fits better.

Have you heard the ghost stories dub? They changed the mood of the original plot to a slapstick comedy rampage. I thoroughly enjoyed it though

I can probably say alot of the FUNimation Dubs; Darker than black, FMA, Ouran High School Host Club, Hellsing, etc...
Although Funi may be distributing the DVDs, Hellsing is not a Funimation dub. It was dubbed by New Generation Pictures, a California studio that did most of its dubs for Geneon back in the day.

Everything that connects to MAL

Contains Ecchi, but not Tagged Ecchi: Part 1 || Part 2 || Part 3

Fullmetal Alchemist and Death Note are the only animes I've come across that the dubs aren't stupid. I used to only like dubs, but once I listened to the Japanese subs and came back to listen to the dubs, they sounded REALLY stupid and ridiculous.

Full metal alchemist, Please! Teacher/Twins, I didnt mind death note but a lot of people disliked it (people taking potatoe chips and eating them etc)

my freind had an idea that made me crack up and spill beer. he said they should make a version of DBZ where everyones got the original japanese voices subbed, except vegeta who has his dubbed voice. that would rock
