| THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So what did everyone think of this chapter? I personally thought it was rather boring. It's nice and all to learn a little about what happened but I really hope that they hurry up and get past this damn flashback "here's why I'm in such pain" bs. I would love to see the flashback end next week. All the fighting is done and there are still so many other pieces of the overall story to pick up on... what with the 8 tails and Sasuke going to destroy Konohoa lol, which between you and me I think he's a little late for. |

| Yet another boring chapter which brings only few words to my mind: "Please end this ridiculous "pain encounter" already" The Pain Invasion had a great potential to be a "fight of beasts". It had a potential to actually hype up the villains and to make main character actually look NOT like a fool. The foreplay was great, with the deaths of Kakashi, etc... The interlude of "Konoha Nuke" was for the lack of words, epic. The Entrance of Naruto was great. The first two chapters of fight were brilliant. Then we got crossing-bridge'd yet again, Kyuubi appeared, Rikkudou apparently created the moon and the whole arc turned into incoherent mess of bullshit. After all of that we get a reveal that Pain is Mr.Talkalot and we get a ridiculously long flashback with plot ripped from 666Satan, manga of Kishi's brother. In the end I am left with lack of satisfaction, Madara looks even more ridiculous and stupid, plot twists got even more fanfiction-like and Naruto is still a dumb clown who can't win a fight without anyone else's help. |

| I do like this chapter, even thou it´s just flashbacks. I find it quite intriguing to learn about the history and the people that live in this big ninja world (Maybe that’s why I’m an archeologist). But also would like to see Sasuke again. Not that I am fond of him but just to see him die. They killed Jiraya and Kakashi, so I think it would be only fair to get rid of him. Nobody will complain if so. |

| Hope something comes out of all these talking. Naruto seems like a kid listening to a bedtime story =.= It would be nice if Nagato had something up his sleeve, and after he finishes talking there would be a big ninjutsu being triggered. That way these flashbacks might be more justifiable |

Also, I'm all for chapters of just dialogue and good back stories, however, aside from the end of this chapter and roughly the beginning of the last one, this is more or less a re-hash of stuff that was already explained/said when the Rinnegan (sp?) and Nagato were first introduced. Speaking of which, this chapter and the previous one could've easily been combined into one saving everyone time. It was nice to see that Danzo has ALWAYS been an asshole lol but other than that give me something new or at least make a solid contribution to the story! And on top of that you would think Nagato with the Rinnegan would've managed to at least take Konan back and they would've been able to run away, if not take out most of the opposing shinobi. He was after all able to dispatch two Konohoa ninjas without knowing any sort of jutsu. |

| an okay chapter that tells us even more about Pain's (Nagato's) past and how he became the person who he is. But, at least we are one step closer to the ending of the flashbacks. Though it really surprised me that Nagato's hair was red (I thought it was a dark color O_o). Yeah, wonder what 8-tailed and Sasuke could be planning though?? |

| I don't get why they didn't just fake Yahiko's death. Kishi has pulled stuff like that plenty of times before after all. The chapter was pretty predictable too. I'm disappointed....again. |

| so im gonna go out on a limb and say that yahiko was the last body that nagato was controlling when fighting naruto?.................Im just hoping that after he finishing his story he opens his eyes and looks down at a rasengen to his special place lol |

Liek, just get it over with, kill the stupid bastard, meet up with sasuke and get some plot done here, geez, enough with the danm flashbacks. What i also don't get is why yahiko dies with only a small kunai in his stomach in less than 2 seconds and when somebody way far in volumes 20 and more has two spears in his stomach and shoulder, 10 goddamn knives in his back and stomach, three thousand picks everywhere, he looks like he's got all the misery covered up in gore and all, AND on top of that, he lives !!! and in a couple days he's like good as new O_O OMFG, where's all the reality, this is nonsense! and if they're so high and mighty in that flashback why could'nt they have snatched the girl so easily as fast as lightning like every time someone's in danger. I AM ON MY ASS XD i'm so sorry if i offended some of you. To reassure people, i still love the series Naruto so :D no worries |

Was a good chapter nontheless, and really hits home the significance of what Kakashi said that time. Still am a little disappointed; wait a whole two weeks for a new chapter only to get that much >.< |

| The first time I saw the leader of akatsuki, I was taughting this guy is cool (Yahiko) and then I found out he´s dead at a long time, and nagato doesn´t have style... But I think the next chapter will be another flashback, but the last one of Pain History. |

I do agree it was a nice one... but really... It was so cliche that I can even write something more original than that... Plus I'm sure Konan could have done something to save herself.. or even Nagato could have used his super eyes power... but no he just stood there stupidly... and he wasn't even doing anything to prevent it for happening... I guess Hanzo and his Squad plus Danzo's squad will blow to piece next chappie... In fact I already suppose he's in those bandages all because he upset the poor Nagato... | I loved the chapter, the past come to light is good, The treatment of the past that Kishimoto give, makes "Naruto" differential. Finally showed Danzou, and probably was the Nagato that ended with his body. Pein for a better world xD |

| This chapter didn't give away much. Half of it seemed like the flashback when Jiraya fough Pain. Nothing against the flashback itself, but Yahiko's death was rather uninteresting - BORING -. Seriously, it was like "Hey Nagato, I gotta kill myself now. The creator is out of tragic ideas. ~urgh~" Yahiko dead... Anyway, one more reason to hate Danzou... |

| So Danzo's behind all of it. Somehow that really doesn't surprise me. I didn't mind this chapter. It is interesting to see how Nagato developed into being 'Pain' but it could move along just a little faster. |
