| Hm. I can definitely see the similarities between this and Noir. So far though, I'm not too impressed by this; the first episode was kind of a slow start for me. |

| Not a bad first episode. Though just like Noir and El Cazer, the gun fights are nonsensical and bloodless. My expectations aren't too high, considering Bee Train's girls with guns record, but I'm hoping that it's at least enjoyable. |

| I picked this up because of Noir and the atmosphere reminded me of it straight away. In comparison, this first episode was far more attention grabbing and surprisingly straightforward. It still has good ole Kajiura Yuki and the same eerie Bee Train vibes though. Madlax seems likable already. I liked that combination of resourcefulness and ruthless wit. The end was pretty touching, I'm definitely looking forward to this. |

| I can get into this!!! I came here because of the theorized connection to Birdie Wing: Golf Girls Story. Are they in the same cinematic universe? We shall find out! |
