| Meguro comes back. He and Maria get back together. He asks her to go with him to America. She agrees, but only after she graduates highschool. Meguro leaves at the end of the chapter to go back and they see him off. Kanda also finally confesses to Maria and stops her from answering because he knows she loves Meguro. While Kanda is important to her, she most likely was going to say she likes him as a friend which he already knew. I liked it, but this could have really used a time-skip showing her together years later with Meguro in my opinion. |
