| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Basically, the entire episode was about Joseph's past. How did Gonzo manage to ruin the cool character, Joseph, so easily? I mean, this ep. was lamer than a Shinshi Doumei Cross chapter! And he hasn't exactly done anything good lately. Next episode seems to be a flashback, too. Oh, how I hate flashbacks.. |
| well the episode was okaty, kinda sucks they split up the flashback episodes, though they would finish after this and pick up the normal story next episode nevertheless its good to get some background on all of this and good to see some of joseph's story |

| lol stupid police... come one come all and look at the amazing boy strong enough to lift a cart all by himself! Please any idiot with half a brain would know he didn't do it not to mention what the vender will say when he gets out of the hospital. So in short that little bit of story pissed me off more then made me feel sorry for him. But overall, a decent flashback and his selflessness was touching if not pathetic. I have too much pride to do the same in his situation... then again I might lie like him but then get back at the boy and his friends later... yeah I like that idea. |

| i'm glad joseph didnt kill those kids tho he woulda been the same thing he despised (kinda like malek's case) but i woulda exposed those kids for what they did AND WHY?! didnt franz tell his side of the story? it've been nice if joseph had scared the shit outta those kids...but maybe they were killed by the flood *devil smile* |

| I'm usually no fan of flashback episodes but this was a really good one in my opinion. You see how the young Joseph thinks along the same tracks as Malek, but he got his prayers heard. With Joseph as his mentor, Malek will do fine. |

| sometimes flashbacks are good, the only bad flashback in animes is when they keep repeating it over and over again this type of sad flashback really fits the story's dramatic side, its not all guns and explotions |

| People don't normally enjoy flashbacks because most of the time they're not done well, but in my opinion this episode was outstanding. It really fleshed Joseph out and gave some much-needed insight into his relationship with Xargin. It also explains why Joseph is so sensitive to Malek's situation. | This is the shittiest flash back I've seen in a while. Feeling bad for him! fss, I'm a prideful man I would've told the truth. And also how stupid those police can be? How can a starving kid lift a cart? That's why I can't relate to this, I'm not sad for him I'm just pissed |
