| This episode gave me a good laugh. Love the "180 degree flip" in reference to Tsuyuri's different that normal attitude towards doujin when Najimi dropped hers while they were in the train. It was pretty funny when Tsuyuri loudly told Najimi to play her first h-game as they were leaving the store. When the guy returned the game and said it was one of his favorites made me think of Genshiken, which you can also see here and here. Of course, the scene where Najimi says she's going to drink till she can't drink anymore was a great way to end it. Didn't recognize all of the merchandise, but I did see a poster of Haruka from Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. |

| While Tsuyuri and Najimi are riding the train, Najimi is secretly reading the porn doujinshi written by Tsuyuri. Unfortunately, Najimi drops it and all of the passengers can see the cover and read the title. The title seems to me to be very clever, since there is an apparent double meaning. The title is 強制ブルマ pronounced "kyōsei buruma". The two kanji 強制 can mean "forcing", "compulsion", "coercion" or "enforcement". The phrase is pronounced "kyōsei". Note that these possibilities are all nouns. On the other hand, the longer phrase 強制的な means "compulsory", in the sense of "required by a rule" or "mandatory". (Pronounced: kyōsei-tekina) So the illustration shows the poor girl wearing the standard bloomers of school uniforms in many schools in Japan. Those are familiar compulsory bloomers. Whether she wants to or not, that girl has to wear those bloomers at school in gym class since there is a school rule that says that she has to. However, 強制 definitely has connotations of something much darker, which the cover illustration shows clearly. I am not Japanese. I don't know what actually would go on in the head of a Japanese person when they look at the title.
