| im on the same boat as you. 3 hours of english dub in a theater with uncomfortable recliner seats for an anime i was not interested was probably not the greatest way to try watching anime again |

| You mean worst experience as far as like the actual content? I guess with miyazaki's Whisper of the Heart. I expected it to have more of that fantasy scene that was shown in the trailer, sadly it was only for like 5 minutes or less. XD |

My wife was snuggled up to me in those theater chairs where the armrests lifts up and you can shift two seats closer together, then suddenly started getting spammed with text messages mid viewing (had my phone on vibrate). So I quickly went out in the lobby to see what the deal was and it was pretty bad. My inbox already had 3 voice messages from calls that I was ignoring. Apparently someone broke into one of the Condos I manage and looted everything they could from inside. From wall mounted TVs to furniture that could be easily carried out and quickly put into a truck. Thankfully the guys got caught quickly due to all the hidden surveillance cameras catching them in the act. The guys didn't even bother to cover up their license plate. Though it totally ruined our experience. We had reserved those special theater seats in advanced, even already ordered our steak dinner that was going to be brought out soon, and to top that off couldn't even finish the alcoholic drinks we had ordered. So my Wife and I had to leave before the film even concluded. Quickly got an Uber to pick us up and drove us back home. So while the movie itself might have been fine, the overall experience was a fucking disaster. I had to wait to watch the film again once it was available for streaming... |

| Approximately a century and a half ago, I went to my first and only anime convention. The person I was with decided we should go to a screening room and we did, and my eyeballs saw Boku No Sexual Harassment. I quickly regretted the decision to go in there and will never look at corn-on-the-cob the same way again. |

| Same TC. 3 hours of boring monologue, flashbacks, and mostly unmemorable story. The action scenes would've been fun if I didnt go imax and get distracted by how much the sound turns up blowing out my ears vs regular story sections. Upper Two trash talking + Akaza was fun to watch at least. |
