| We are going that route, huh... A revelation like that was always a possibility, but I didn't think it was actually something this author would do. I'm not going to immediately say that the series is either a masterpiece or ruined by extreme ambition. It all depends on the direction Shindō takes the story from here and the way she executes her big idea. I cannot comment with certainty on what I have not seen presented to me on the page. Speaking of things presented to me on the page, I have something to say about the contents of this chapter. I don't hate the long anticipation, especially for something this important, but I think the rules on Ruri's abilities take it a step too far. It is something that will probably make more sense in the context we'll have soon, I just think it is a bit too much to wait the whole chapter for the answer. TL;DR (or simply "conclusion"): We'll have to wait and see... |

| This really can go either way. Either it stays chill about the "destroying the world", or it will turn in some kind of battle shounen. I would like to see this stay the former, but we'll see. |

| Yuck. Build all the anticipation on what her mom said only to drop an awful and cliché "danger to the world" line. Jumping from pleasant coming-of-age to battle shonen slop would be the worst way to take this. I'm hoping that at worst, the cliffhanger is just lame bait to keep readers invested. Can't help but feel the author has sprinkled that a few times now though. |
