| Some time ago I read a science fiction book (don't remember name of book or author Childhood's End by Clarke) where all of humanity was mind controlled and then consumed by an universal hivemind. All except one guy, who witnessed the slow process of him becoming the last person alive on Earth. He lived on the planet alone for some time, and then was consumed (along with the planet itself) by the universal hivemind. Is there an anime that deals with the theme of 1 person being the last living human on his planet? |

| Thanks I watched that anime, had its good moments. Those fairies, with their incomprehensible powers, kinda remind me of that book too. It wouldn't be surprising if one day the fairies unleashed all of their powers and transformed into an universal power than consumed planets. |
