Heartbreaking ending to Ohma's story. Wish they showed us others fighters reactions, it would have even more impact. Also was expecting Yamahsita to do some basic move to humiliate his former boss but I guess it would be a little off his character. Great season and great show

Just a heads up to anyone that believes the story is over with Kengan Ashura.....

There's an ongoing sequel manga called Kengan Omega and it answers a lot of questions that were left unanswered or unaddressed in the ending.

First Fang, then Ohma. Didn't see the old dude winning. Definitely not a cliche outcome.

This part was so good from start to finish. I'm assuming a new director or something is involved because I don't remember the fights being this good. Every punch and kick carries so much impact, the animation and sound are on another level. This was so satisfying.

ayoooo why did they have to do Ohma like that tffff

Ohma is one of the rare characters that is the best one in the whole series

Kengan is cool, too bad that there were a lot of snoozable moments, but there were some hella cool things too

also, never would have guessed the old man is going to win, he looked like a npc to me

Thank you Netflix for adapting the whole manga, it's been a pleasure in a journey of 5 years from 2019 to 2024. I think using 3D CG model for almost all scene is the right decision, but animation is not the only aspect of this anime. The music (by composer Yasuharu Takanashi with the help of various artists), the story (by original creator Yabako Sandrovich with the help of screenwriters and storyboards), the editing, all combined into one singular vigorous experience. I don't like that this anime remove a lot of relax scenes (there's actually a lot of party in the island), but I see some comment that there were a lot of snoozable moments so it's understandable.

Now for the comment on result, one could argue that Ohma might win if he's in top condition, but I feel like we haven't seen Kuroki's full strength yet.

The future is completely up to Netflix now. I can only hope...

Great ending. I like it when the main character does not magically win in the end for the plot. This anime is a hidden gem and also has one of the best cg animation.

@Kanturu_ They still have the same staff since season 1, just with much more experience

This anime is underrated but make no mistake, this is good shit, the animation outside the action scenes is crap, that's for sure, but my god, as soon as they start fighting (which happens 85% of the time) the animation and the fight choreography gets really damn good, and the awesome music hypes me up.

Also, I have to praise the voice acting in Spanish (Latino), it's the best voice acting I have heard in that language and it's the best voice acting for this anime, it's even better than Japanese and English, and that says a lot because I don't watch animes in Spanish (Latino).

This anime is great, I will miss it, I hope they adapt Kengan Omega next.

Ending was shit. This is a martial arts tournament anime, not some psychological drama. You don't need to give your anime a depressing ending just to catch the audience off guard.

I'd get the losing thing, I wouldn't be happy about it, but it's all part of growth which will make him a better fighter in the future.

But lose and then die? That's it? No more Ouma? What a waste.

Well, it was pretty heavily implied that if Ohma uses Life Advance once more he dies.
So he chose winning over not dying, used it, and died.

I sort of expected the "Ohma wins and dies immediately" ending because of that.

I think we all knew that Ohma would die, but I didn't expect him to lose the final match. Kurosaki is a beast, and I simply loved the anime. RIP Ohma

It was a very good anime. Except for the very last episodes with some ugly-ass 2D drawings.

You're telling me I sat through this slop with 52 episodes, only probably 5% of which is Ohma fighting, a bunch of different art styles thrown into one, really mid fights just to watch Ohma lose and die at the end. What a load of rubbish, hardly cared about any of the characters apart from Yamashita and Ohma and he didn't even win the tornament, for whatever reason they thought it'd be some sort of emotional twist but in reality it sucked.

That was a good adaptation. I liked everything except how they censored Fusui's butt, entirely cut Kaburagi from the anime, and made a weird choice of Shion's hair color.
Overall 9/10 to all the parts.
Would like to see Kengan Omega animated.

Nah that's actually sad for Ohma, he died like a legend though, seeing Niko's hallucination for the last time before passing away alone but near Yamashita, definitely not the ending you would expect since you would expect some cliché with him eventually winning and all but it isn't the case here, Kuroki was a real boss and he couldn't make it... RIP

Oh man, I wasn't expecting that for the ending. The fantastic fight choreography will make this go down as one of my favourite martial arts anime of all time. On a side note, I'm going to miss Sayaka's voice acting.
