| --- Best Anime of Winter 2024 --- Heyho comfy campers, welcome to our seasonal best anime voting. This time, let's welcome an updated version that's been talked about on the discord, simplified and now sees the day of light in order to determine the shows we truly enjoyed as a club. You see, the biggest and most obvious change is that there isn't any specified list of eligible anime anymore, yes, (almost) no restrictions, meaning that you are free to choose your favourites from the entire scope of the TV-sized medium. Personally speaking, I do hope that we still see mostly those shows winning of the type that suit us, but who am I to doubt the comfy force of you guys and girls anymore >-< The other change is that in the now six categories, you've got the opportunity of naming up to three entries each (five entries in best character). We hope that this will give enough room of expressing various opinions and favourites, while also making us able to hopefully drop popularity mitigation mechanisms entirely and still give the lesser known shows a chance to at least peek around the alley corner too. There are 6 categories to vote for: ☆Best Anime☆ ☆Best sequel Anime☆ ☆Comfiest Anime☆ ☆Best Character☆ ☆Best OP☆ ☆Best ED☆ - in Best Character, you can list up to 5 entries, while in the other five categories, up to 3 entries are allowed. - not all spots need to be filled (could for example name a #1 and #4 character while leaving the others empty), because the #1 on a list will receive the most score when ultimately determining the club's favourite. - characters and anime must come from Japanese TV Shows or TV Shorts that started airing in the Winter 2024 season (thus for example no Apothecary Diaries anymore). Please refrain from naming movies, OVAs, ONAs and simple song entries thus -> choosing either TV Show or TV Short as Format, one way of finding a browsable list is on anilist: https://anilist.co/search/anime?year=2024&season=WINTER - OPs and EDs have to have debuted in the target season, thus please none from e.g. 2cour shows that only just came out during this Spring - feel free to interpret "best sequel" in any way you want. They could for example be actual sequels, spin-offs to existing franchises, etc - the voting will stay open until around the end of April. It is also possible to vote on our discord server by DMing me. |

Weakest Tamer OP - really beautiful and optimistic song with a very beautiful accompanying animation. Frieren OP2 - not sure if this one counts but i find it musically interesting and with good visuals and nice lyrics ☆Best ED☆ Dungeon Meshi ED - Netflix, a platform that infamously always tries to automatically skip the ending songs, doesn't deserve one as good as this. Pon no Michi ED - really comfy song, I'll even forgive it for not being about mahjong. Weakest Tamer ED - not a huge fan of this one musically but I like how they actually animated something for it. |
