Still not sure about this Donghua even though this is the 3rd Season in.
It just doesn't flow as good as others, you have to keep concentrating and sometimes rewinding.
I'll keep watching to see, maybe it's just me.

yeah this one feels a bit weird. If yall didn't know, according to the wikia, from the beginning of season 2 to episode 1 of season 3, 3~4 years has passed. It didn't feel that way watching season 2.

i don't think there's any major issue with the pacing. i could easily understand how season 2 spanned multiple months. multiple years would be a stretch, imo, but wouldn't actually change anything about the show or season 2. it's not like this is the "Fanren" franchise that has pacing issues and time jumps out the wazoo

the 9 demon hall sends 3 of the 9 "brothers" to find the jade sword and retaliate against the crimson cave. i don't understand why mc just let them kill(?) so many cave members without stopping it. but he lets himself get captured because "he has a plan". we shall see...

so... MC didn't do much and let more than 50% of the cave sea demons die...

then he "gave up" and went with the 9-Dragon demons...

sadge be the cave sea demons...

First their strong members gets killed by MC cause they wanted revenge for their "brother".

Then the MC lets the 9-Dragon dude kill the leader before MC kills the 9-Dragon dude.

And now MC just let 50% of ppls die before he "gave up".

.

But I guess the cave demon would have died regardless after that 9-Dragon dude kills the leader.

Tho before that, they might have a fighting chance if MC didn't kill all the strong ppls.

.

Tho other question is... they keep on saying how the "inner cave" can't be entered...

So how did the 9-Dragon dude AND MC get into the inner cave... they never explained it, the 2 just sorta... pops into the inner cave out of no where...
