| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This last episode was actually moving, though I saw a conclusion like that coming. Jibanyan bringing up even Jinmenken and Yamada while not mentioning Whisper was just so mean though. xD Koma-san and Komajirou took care of Jibanyan even after they forgot who he was too. They are so kind. It was also nice to have one last sad Yamada song moment before it ended. The last episode, huh... Sometimes the humor fell flat, at least to me, but I mostly loved everything. I now understand why it was such a phenomenon even though it is no longer on its peak popularity. Koma-san, Komajirou, Fubuki-hime, Merameraion and Hikikoumori were my favorite recurring youkai, that weren't really the protagonists, by far. The Busters Treasure series might be my favorite because it felt like a spin-off instead of a regular series. And I loved Inaho and USApyon. I wasn't sure about them at first, but I'm glad they were added. And my favorite human with no Youkai Watch was Keita's father. I wish he appeared more. Welp, it's over, but I'm not really sad. I still have the other Youkai Watch anime and movies to watch, and the games to play. |
