| Chou no Michiyuki It's not available in English, but it's available in German, Spanish and French under these titles: German: Die letzte Reise der Schmetterlinge French: Le dernier envol du papillon Spanish: El último vuelo de las mariposas It's a pretty interesting drama about a courtesan during the Edo period in Japan. The artwork is the best of the best. This is definitely one of the most beautifully drawn manga volumes in my collection (and that collection includes works by Inio Asano and Takehiko Inoue). |
| I'm gonna suggest Ayesha's Secret https://myanimelist.net/manga/93350/Ayeshahs_Secret There are not too many manhwa on the list and this one has really realistic art. The story is short and has a good mystery hook. |

I consider this manga (Yugami kun has no friends) to be one of the best Slice of life stories out there. Inspite of being a slice of life, it manges to be thrilling I'm always left wanting for more chapters. It is set in highschool, but there are no shitty love triangles. There is love, friendship, baseball but very realistically. Nothing is exaggerated. You'll love these characters, become friends with them. Also the story never drafts drags. It ends when it has run it's course. I'd like more! But as Bill Waterson said when he ended Calvin & Hobbes- don't suck the readers love for your characters. Let the characters love forever, immortal in memories. Just read this!!! Yugami kun has no friends |

| There is this amazing historical fiction where a doctor time travels to the past- Shinsengumi period. Jin is a realistic manga, aside from the time traveling. The art, characters, story are all great. The mangaka is Motoka Murakami Jin A hidden gem, for sure. |
