| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- To get to know the new life of everyone is good, but it is kind of sad too: Rally ends up alone, Roy seems "ejected" to a minor post (because of Percy's pression on their superior, I suppose), and Misty gets the worst fate of course (no matter what she thinks she thinks). And despite what a lot of people said to the heroin about Goldie, the important thing about her is notwhat kind of boss she is but the horrible obsessive perverse person she is. Maybe she'll be the ultimate boss if Sonoda decides to write a last segment for his series. After all, he stated on his cover speech that he would come back with Gunsmith Cats when he'll have new ideas. 3/5 This sequel offered a few new cases but too much cars chapters, the balance between all the cool stuffs that make Gunsmith Cats was kind of broken. The end is also highly unsatisfying. Overall score: 7.5+/10 @St0rmblade You didn't notice? XD Well, you can't really blame Rally for not noticing things she's obviously not into (relationships for example, especially such a weirdly placed little crush). What do you mean by "dropping" the score? This series was most of the time oscillating between 6-7. Oh, that doesn't come specifically from a supposedly "bad" ending (I rarely consider this), although reopening a series only to end it on an unfinished note when it was originally a simple episodic comics doesn't look any good (that's what I meant with "unsatisfying"). It's more because of the amalgation I wrote above. |

| I wondered what made you drop the mark from 9 to 7, figured it should be the ending. Was correct! That's the power of brainwashing I guess. The ending is indeed a bit melancholic. Our great bomb freak is just a "normal" mother now, reaalllyyy. Misty's end is obviously bittersweet, though I'm glad she got some spotlight at least. Rally's reaction to the goobye kiss made me think that we might have a lesbian trio here. How did she manage to not understand Misty's feelings given the flashback with her "colt" outfit is beyond me. P.S. Sudden realization: Misty and May probably come from a character Sonoda designed for Otaku no Video, called...Misty May xD Rei_III said: What do you mean by "dropping" the score? | loved this manga. it's bittersweet to see misty and rally's feelings for each other only explored at the end, but i'm glad that misty has accepted her heartbreak and that she's found something else that works for her. i'm jealous if anything. evil butch italian mob bosses hmu |
