DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nice story I guess but I'd already filled in her backstory with Inuki in my imagination. At least we're closer to knowing two other characters even if the plot isn't really moving anywhere yet. |
| This was just an extended version of the brief flashback we already got in a previous episode (footage this episode replays as well!). Sure it was more sophisticated with a story that seems to end happily for Yuzuriha only to suddenly reverse and having that girl who's friendly to Yuzuriha for the whole episode only to also not believe her in the end but it doesn't actually accomplish more than the short flashback did and with the series approaching the mid-point and considering how minor Yuzuriha has been so far I question the idea of giving an entire episode to redundantly go over her backstory like this. |
| This episode focused on bringing us the whole story of Yuzuriha and Inuki. It's a nice story, but the main point is her encounter with Kusanagi. |
| Very great episode. This is the peak of character driven story telling. We see Nekoi's flashbacks and Kusanagi's great support. Kinda sad that the children betray her at the end even though she tried her best to help. Inuki's such a great dog for being able to leap so well and swim so well to rescue the boys. and yeah the apocalypse. it's great to see how the end of the world is looked as a grim aspect. |

| we seriously do not need a backstory for every single character just get back to the story already damnit |
