DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Animation looks nice & I'm liking everyone's outfits/designs so far, even the guards look some-what kool. Ascoeur is so freaking cute! lol. Maid outfits really are the best, lol :). LOL omfg, that mid-way pic of her saying "I took em off!" made me burst out in laughter, that was good. I thought it had a Star Wars like feeling...Light Sabers ftw? |

| I really really hate Ascoeur. I mean, they take the awesome tough beauty like Eclair and they turn her into that? Someone who will drop the bloomers when being asked? This episode was a huge letdown. The other girl that I'm not even going to attempt to spell was somewhat better. To give it a number... 2/5. Wow. I really hope this series improves and fast. I loved Kiddy Grade. |
| personally i thought it was an okay episode, for me it was fairly entertaining, although whether or not i continue to watch this series will depend on the next couple of episodes. |

| I was looking forward to this series, but like some of the people above I really did not like Ascoeur. I just kept getting more and more annoyed with her. This is probably going to feel like a long series with her. |

| The episode starts a little like Kiddy Grade. I am watching it now also. I was very excited by this episode. From the shield that reflects bullets of Souma to the appearances of Q-feuille and Ascoeur it was great. I liked all of the dragon chase. The weapons and the setting. I like Sci-fi so this will be great. Too bad it is only 12 episodes and Kiddy Grade is 24. I also liked Ascoeur teleportation and device. Device can become a light saber with a very big reach but also needles that can stun. Superbe. I think the OP of Kiddy Grade is better. These two animes are really good in Sci-fi. Forgot to add that there is a lot of French words and since I am French I can offer translations to some who want to. I have been studying this to give my English a boost because a MOD told me it cannot be used in forums because they are all to be english. |

| Thoughts as watched: -The graphics are a bit off. The opening sequence could have been a bit more shiny (especially for a Satelight), and the character proportions seem a bit off after S1 -Those two better not be freaking dead -Meh OP. Not enough serious business -It's kinda like KG ep1 but not as good, and all the characters have been pushed to the edge of their stereotypes -Some decent action with the dragon, though they dragged the panties thing a bit too long -Trixie and Troy Jeanne or whatshername kinda looks like Eclair & Lumier -Where the hell is my Chihara Minori - Junpaku Sanctuary ED?? I was expecting a disappointment and it did perfect as that, but let's not forget that Kiddy Grade came a long way from that ep1 oh so many years ago. Plus hope that those 12 eps is just a typeo Barbara-chan said: She had a change in her design and their names and personalities got switched. | This might just be worse than Kiddy Grade. However, I have to say that the animation was pretty awesome, and as of yet, the ways of capturing the opponents isn't as silly as in Kiddy Grade. Then again, Kiddy Grade got quit eserious at times, I don't think I will see a hint of that with Ascoeur. |

| Mi nourose is one of the names that is straight from the Official Site's character database so I'm assuming it is correct; the interpretations of the names are my own work, as are the spellings for the characters that don't have pages yet. |

| In the first 5 minutes of this anime, we get to hear Norio Wakamoto, Aya Hirano, Jun Fukuyama and Akira Ishida. While not beaing a fan of seiyuus in general, I must say it is quite impressive. Apart from that, the episode was quite entertaining, and really close to the first Kiddy Grade. It's pretty much what I expected coming into this series: silly comedy, slight ecchi, loads of action and in some episode, a much more serious and emotionnal side to it. Kiddy Grade was a very good underrated show, I hope this one will be the same. |

| Honestly I didn't like it... Ascoeur really anoyed me and I thanked the heavens when those soldiers showed to try to kill the director, it was taking to long for some action! I hope the next episodes will be better... Well apart form that it was good to see Tweedledee and Tweedledum, I loved those two. I wonder if Dextera and Sinistra will also show up... And whatever happened to the cute girl with silver hair that appeared on the pilot episode? Did she turn into the actual Ascoeur? |

| Maybe it's a little soon to judge after one episode, but compared to the original Kiddy Grade, this one just isn't my cup of tea. Ascoeur was a pain in the neck, and Q-Feuille didn't really have enough screen time for me to form an opinion of her. To me, it seemed as if the formula that made Kiddy Grade good was reworked into something for younger viewers. What happened to all the coolness that we saw in that original trailer? The only things I did like were the new outfits on Tweedledee and Tweedledum, and the slight possibility of seeing Eclair and Lumiere again. I remain optimistic, so 3/5. |

On a more serious note...I suspect that Ascouer and Q-Feuille are Eclair and Lumiere...except they merged, then were split. At least they way their acting, and their apperance seems to hint towards it (specifically Q-Feuille) |

| This was so horribly bad, that it was somewhat good. The voice actors - especially Ascoure's actress - were terrible, the graphics were too shiny, the whole panties thingie was retarded and the action scenes were too cliche... Ascoure as a main character will probably annoy me to no ends, but I'm sticking with this, since I really enjoyed Kiddy Grade. |

I mean, the part before the op was amazing and the rest seemed like reusing the formula for Kiddy Grade's first episode, so I'm really expecting it to get better.. | King Charles is narrating in the beginning, actually i didn't like it. Like what they do to hayate no gotoku. Acually, awesome animation by Satelight, good thing they take over from that-almost-bankrupt-GONZO. Anyway, pretty much interesting series, i wonder what happened to Lumiere & Eclair since then. Also they keep the ES members even after 25 years eh ? Ascoeur is lovely !! Great fanservice !! Just one thing to ask, is that Troyes jeanne and trixie that Lumiere & Eclair's clone who's left ? |

| i dont really know what to think. it wasn't bad but the style seemed too different from what i remember kiddy grade being like. and i swear that thing was trying to be a red eyes black dragon. i'll keep watching it but i feel like it won't live up to how good i thought the original was. |
