| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Shanin returning home, and saying that she’s back to the reflection of Kaori seems to show that, for the first time, she’s at peace with herself in a place where she feels she belongs. This is a great place to conclude the first set of episodes, and ironically enough, there’s no Angel Heart for the next two weeks. I say ironically only because this is a period when other shows take breaks too, so it’s not just because they’re at a good stopping point. |

| Another touching episode. Li's younger twin dedicated his whole life to his brother, and his family. It's sad, but he was satisfied. He was another father to his niece, and he had a true friend in Ryou, having moments in which he wasn't just a "shadow," but truly himself. The funeral was meaningful and poignant, and now that this arc is truly over, I think, Xiang Ying and Kaori's heart are finally home. Great insert song by the way. |
