| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yamato, after returning to Tokyo by train with Suzuka, finds Honoka waiting for him at the station. After Suzuka leaves the two of them alone, Yamato realizes how much Honoka likes him and how much he likes her, so he kisses her. At school the next day, Yasunobu has a chat with Yamato about how far Yamato’s relationship has gone and the next step. That night, Honoka visits Yamato’s room to cook him dinner. Yamato, constantly reminded of Yasunobu’s words, finally boils over after dinner when he forces Honoka onto the bed. She pushes him off, after he kisses her, and runs out. When Honoka doesn’t show up for practice the next day, Yamato goes searching for her at the shrine. He apologizes, but she says that she doesn’t hate him, and the two make up. Yamato arrives home to find Suzuka standing outside. Their conversation is short and after Yamato leaves her behind to go to his own room, Suzuka wonders what she’s doing. |

| Seriously, Suzuka. You had your chance. You had many chances. You had way more chances than you ever deserved. He was so good to you, he tried his best for a (very) long time and you consistently shot down any attempts he made. Then the moment he finally decides to give up and goes out with somebody who actually makes him feel like he's worth something, you can't take it. You're constantly planting seeds in his mind, making him doubt his situation and causing him to think about you even when he's with Honoka. Get over yourself. If you want to throw a pity-party, do it alone, don't make Yamato suffer any more than you've already made him. |

| Laraso sums up how I feel perfectly. But I think it's inevitable that their newly made promise gets broken. (Doesn't help that the series is named after her) Suzuka is always around him which will probably cause him to relapse. Gonna be praying still that HonokaXYamato works out despite all that. |
| I admit it's hard to root for Suzuka. As things have been until now, she does not deserve Yamato. Sadly, this anime is called Suzuka and not Honoka... |
