| The new opening slaps Can't decide if Captain Smoker is a bad guy or just intimidating as hell. That swordswoman looks awfully similar to Kuina. That old guy at the bar had actually been an acquaintance of Gold Roger. Big flex imo. Smoker's gonna find Luffy? Also, what happened to Sanji? I believe he found that hot girl travelling with Buggy. Did something happen to him?? |

| Okay so Smoker isn't a "bad guy" but only doin' his job? Until now almost every Marine officer was kinda an shizhead so I wonder if he is gonna turn out to be evil as well or not. So next fight will be clown/alvira vs straw hat crew vs smoker? This could be a rly big mess :o |

| What an incredible episode from out of nowhere. Smoker isn't really a bad guy as we've seen with previous marines in this show but rather a tough guy who once looked up to the King of the Pirates and yet somehow he's nice to a little girl when she accidentally spilled her ice cream on him. Hell I was so engaged with the story that the barman was telling to Luffy about Gold Roger. From what I can see onscreen the guy was already a legend in his own right. He was that awesome in life even up to his death at that very execution platform. He went out with a bang. This is certainly one of the better episodes for me and we are certainly going places with this one. A favourite to me for sure. And I'm pretty sure that the clumsy girl, Tashigi is most definitely Zorro's childhood friend but all grown up. It has to be her. |

| not a fan of this new opening, but the episode overall was great ^^ it was super cool to learn more about gold roger and his death scene was great.. i wasn't expecting smoker to have been a kid when it happened though honestly LMAO i thought he looked way older than that |

| What a great episode. I could be misremembering the manga, but I think the vast majority of the episode was original to the anime. Often times that's to the detriment of the show, but this time they were damn good additions. |

| I recently started watching One Piece. At first i thought i wouldn’t enjoy this anime but now i find it really interesting and look forward to each new episode. I started watching it with my sibling and they liked the show too. It’s a nice anime and the journey is becoming even more exciting. |
