ugh i hate the bloody bastard who keeps letting the mood down criticising everything within his own team also wtf were the old guys thinking when they held children as hostages. as sexist and jerkass amuro is, I could relate to how he was done with them. "I understand how much you were risking your lives" bitch please. They are trying to return u safely and yet you act like a bunch of monkeys. | i'm liking it a lot for now, the characters started to develop a little bit. kai says the right things but that doesn't help in the situation they're in. i still donìt know if i like amuro or not |

| The civilians are utterly stupid, beyond any realistic way. Don't they realize the ONLY reason they are still alive is because of the herculean efforts of this rag-tag bunch of also-civilians fighting for their lives against multiple military-grade assaults? Do they expect to just be given first class plane tickets back to whatever corner of the earth they came from by the good graces of a hostile enemy military? They aren't even thinking one step ahead of "let us touch down on Earth (in the middle of a warzone) and figure things out". Completely asinine. The leader of the old folk going "we aren't trying to cause trouble, honestly" while they are staging a sit-down in the middle of the control center where everyone is running all over the place trying to get weapons ready and launches calibrated, wtf. It is so infuriating. And these aren't even Earth Federation military soldiers but other civilians that they've known their entire lives in Side 7! None of the old people want to step up and do something productive, so they want to hinder the efforts of the ones actually doing something in order to say "notice me! I want you to focus on my nostalgic melodrama!" while they are getting collectively fired on by military fighter jets, missiles, guns, and lasers. Even as a panic by a frightened captive civilian base, their actions just make zero logical sense, nor subjective hysteria-induced sense. The revolting civilians are just marching the entirety of White Base toward its doom by getting in the way like a bunch of 7 year olds running up to gunmen in a gunfight. |
