| Pretty good, but not as good as the main series. Ending was a bit sequelbaity, but at least the next movie is coming out later this year. |

| This movie is just a never-ending loop of tragedy ain't it XD Feels bad man but even so this is just fiction. Nagisa is adorbs tho but overall, kind of confusing to scratch this one out but I genuinely think this is just as good as the main series while a bit worse due to the ending and more confusion than the main series lmao? Can't wait for the next movie coming in next year brow. |

| Incredible Twist on a Twist for Homura to become an Anti-Hero who just wants Madoka back as a human and not a God forever stopping Witches from being born. I've never been a fan of the odd paper realistic style craft painting to visualize the supernatural world, but the overall action and battle choreography, especially the team based attacks were great. The intro transformation sequence was really weird and hilarious, but otherwise, this odd Homura illusion jail with pet Kyubei and Madoka with her formerly deceased friends and Bebe as a friend now back to save Homura was awesome. Followed by the Twist of Homura becoming part God, dubbed Demon/Evil from herself solely to keep Madoka human is fucking awesome. I can't imagine what the fourth movie will be like... It'll feel conflicting when the friends start battling Homura until they figure out a new power universe with a better balance to their opinions together... Poor Homura. She's not the Bad Guy at all. It's odd how the overall execution of the original TV series is flawed, including the dull first half, but its kinda shocking how kinda great the second half, followed by this sequel being even greater. Awesome movie. I like this franchise now, even though I wish the first season had better depth and direction. 8.5/10 for the movie. 9/10 for the story. |
