| The shows i currently watch + first 3 or 4 episodes of about 5-6 shows i plan to watch. Everything in best quality available I always delete the completed show, and when i start watching the ptw anime i download the rest of the episodes if i like it. No backup on DVD-s or external drives |

And if you're getting DVD at 576i (PAL)/480i (NTSC) then you'll be getting blurays at low quality too. If you can play them at all that is. |

| On DVD, or BD: 515 various series, movies and OVAs Digital (Legal Download): 1 Series Digital (Legal Grey): 76 Titles (309GB) Digital (Licensed Illegal): 0 I prefer legal methods and physical media and am a DVD and Blu-ray collector so I have a lot more of that then digital stuff. I also don't download things that are licensed in the US here. If I do download anything, it's legal or unlicensed. Any unlicensed work I've watched and saw fit to keep also gets deleted once the show is licensed. |

And also, I'd rather better sound quality than video quality any day. Oh and I've posted about this in another thread, but ~12 series on DVD and Blu-ray and 9Gb on my harddrive, though like most, I delete what's on my harddrive after I've watched it. |
| I only have a few BD-only releases myself. Mostly because DVDs are cheaper and save me money so I have more money to buy more anime. Second, DVD's have greater portability. If I have to choose between the two formats, then I'm going to go with the one that plays on my laptop, which is DVD. If I want to watch a BD I have to use my player at home. Combo packs are what I prefer. |

| I have around thirty physical DVDs, all but about three are complete collections of an entire series as I see no point in spending more money on separate 'volumes'. Seven are of ambiguous legality (came from Chinatown) but the rest are all definitely genuine. I don't download anime at all (except for a few movies) and try to purchase every series that I enjoyed. |

From left to right: Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Samurai Champloo (from my "I'm rich and can buy anything" phase), Bokusatsu Tenchi Dokuro-chan (which I'm told is rare but idk I haven't looked into that), Fullmetal Panic the 2nd Raid (won it in an AMV contest at Megacon 2010 for honorable mention LOL), Berserk, Cowboy Bebop movie, Cowboy Bebop: The Perfect Sessions, Hellsing Ultimate IV Limited Edition with Rip Van Winkle cover and artbook, Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum Collection (which I guess is also rare), Neon Genesis Evangelion Death and Rebirth, Neon Genesis Evangelion The End of Evangelion, Evangelion 1.11 blu-ray, Evangelion 2.22 blu-ray, and then the limited super editions of Katanagatari blu-rays that NISA released with artbooks and the sickest blu-ray menus ever. I also have the Chinese version of Evangelion 2.22 because it came out before the American version and had some English subs that came with it. |

| I'm actually very proud of my collection. But I have more merchandise than DVDs. For series oh god..I have like 30 compete series..like box sets. Somewhere between 200-300 single DVDs and VHS. Around 100 volumes of manga..I usually read it online. But yeah most of my collection is merchandise. I have like 100 posters up in my room. Which include wallscrolls and some a small as postcards so they aren't all big. I have like 30 plushies..not including pokemon..if I include pokemon it would be like 50 more. Like 60 figures. But most being around 3 inches. Also not including pokemon. Bags, t shirts, games, art books, and a ton of other stuff. But I rather collect merchandise than series. I can just watch them online. But I try and buy my favorites. |

| Eh...about 518GB digital. I've got a ton of DVDs, but they're all in random boxes/file cabinets/drawers. Living in a small apartment sucks. I have two totes that are filled exclusively with Slayers merchandise I've picked up over the last 12 years. Spent roughly around $1500 just on that stuff, maybe more. I'll have to sort through it at some point. As for manga, which I don't have a list for yet... This pic is about 4-5 years old. Not all the stacks are single series, some are stacked on top of others...ran out of room xD. The collection has grown a bit since then, but again, everything is in random boxes. :< I also have the novel adaptations of Slayers and Seikai no Monshou (Crest of the Stars) One day...all shall be sorted...and I shall have my glass cases. |
