Ok, Tony purposely let the cops beat Eliah to punish him from being careless during the combat... It's way to harden him at the same time. Although I felt bad for him, it's perfectly understandable because the cops lost their friend just like that...After all, Eliah was the one who shot the cop, not Propater....

I feel Maya is going to be important in the future....

The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

Punishing a remorseful 15 year old is stupid. Sure they need an output for their revenge, but I suppose they were punishing his father more than anything, easier to vent on his son than flail about trying to find the man himself.

I dont think Eliah even shot anyone, it was his robot buddy! Blame the robot!

Okay, now I understand. I was wondering what the big deal was. But even still, why would you beat up the son of the "lord of all gangsters"?? Seems sort of foolish to me... >.>

Yeah, but, the fact of the matter is that Cherubim, or rather the deflecting bullets, wouldn't have harmed anyone if Elijah hadn't tried to rescue Hannah and Mana all on his own. He really had no business doing this. But, Sophia and Kenji didn't have much choice considering he'd do it anyway and he was a means to an end to get to Maya.

And, yeah, Tony didn't have much choice. It was either they'd accuse Elijah or trying to escape, kill him, and plant a gun on him or this. Sure, he got beaten up, but this was the safer of the two no doubt. Also, it is a way to get a Enoah himself. By picking on his son. I'm sure shit like this is pretty common. Cops picking on a powerful persons family, especially when they put themselves in a situation like Elijah did.

Well shit ... They really did a number on Eliah there, and it would seem that Helena is now like a top dog prostitute? Or is this the city that she originated from? And was that little girl one too? Creepy ... anyways I am surprised that they would want to beat up Eliah at all, all that is going to do, possibly, is piss off his father who I still think maintains at least some power.

I'm curious about why the hell they must beat Eliah, son of Enoa Ballard ? Also, that Rico guy really pissed me off.

He had it coming. Sophia did warn him but he just rushed in headlong. They should've at least left him somewhere safe, though. Also I know it's been almost 9 years but @Pirating_Ninja I thought it was pretty clear the little girl was just the other prostitute's(Manuela's) daughter.

Did we see the same fight? Eliah's robot was hardly the problem in this fight, it barely made it. Most people died or got hurt because of the plane falling, which was Sophia's fault (and probably Maya's doing) and because of propater's ions and soldiers. Cherubim was barely in the fight. I don't see anyone trying to punish Propater or Nomad right?! Or any of their members? Just the kid who was trying to save his mother and sister.
And isn't Enoa Ballard so powerful that everyone is scared of him, and Tony owes a lot to him? How does people hurting his son and Tony throwing his son under the bus makes sense?
