I somehow managed to miss the spoiler, and was still holding out hope until his cigarette went out. Honestly had to lock my door so no one would walk in on me crying.

I'm marathoning all of Naruto. I have to agree. Feels like Shippuuden is wasting my time. I know Part 2 definitely wastes time later on, but I never remembered this happening so soon. The bare minimum the episode directors had to do is debut "Long Kiss Goodbye" here with an extended ending featuring flashbacks instead of cutting up the battle with them... sheesh.

Worse is, we saw so little of Asuma between Part 1 and the episodes leading up to now. So it makes the outcome feel cheap.

I had to put the bgm "Sadness and Sorrow" into the Asuma scene and the team 10 memories, it worked perfectly. I swear that while the story in this ep is very touching, the Art part should probably get more attention.

I'm so sad and will probably need therapy. They should have just ripped the body of hiden in 1000 pieces instead of listening to his speech but anyway it's anime so i get it.
