| Hmmm...okay, things are starting to piece together slowly, I think. I may have to re-read to gain a full understanding, but this is Syaoran before he was abducted by Fei Wong and the clone was replaced. But now how do the clones fit into this. It was obvious they were young when C! Syaoran met Sakura. How exactly did R!Syaoran get captured here.... Hmmm....I feel CLAMP still needs to reveal to us one major event that will make sense of everything. |

| Okay I like how these flashbacks give a lil more info, hints, and all that (even though it's pretty confusing), but I'm seriously missing the actual story (and Fai~). I want it back. q_q |

| How does not one think the story got moved along?! :O I'm so excited, I'm almost hopping out of my seat! This chapter was almost an exact replica of the first chapter of the series. Even the panels were identical! The only difference is Sakura didn't jump all over Syaoran! In the first chapter, Sakura said "I'll tell you next time we meet..." and they never did meet again properly. How much you want to bet her (15th?) birthday that's coming up is the day that seal is going to start to activate? What's also exciting to see is Syaoran at the age he is now, only in a previous time. It is obvious that he turned back time at some point, catapulting everyone back into a different past, and *poof!* Clow Reed ends up as Sakura's father (note: she never did talk about having a mother, either). But how long did he continue to look for a way to save her... he said always... did he continue to look even after she had died? Until he became an old man, and perhaps a villian....? Someone whom we know? Fai, I hate you for planting this theory in my head xD This is the most excited I've been in a long time!! |

| I was squeeing through the whole chapter because it was almost the same as chp 1, which I remember by heart. <33 However I'm completely lost to how C!Syaroan and C!Sakura fit into all this story. o___o' I guess they go back in time to her 7th bday again? Hmm. Actually, if this is true, I would be extremely happy - because then C!S&S and R!S&S would have each their own stories and lives, and I like to keep each pairing seperated. I want each Syaoran to have its own Sakura for himself, lol. |

| It would seem that Sakura is not the one that appeared since the beggining of the manga, either that or Syaoran's way to destroy the curse was to turn the featers white someway, yet the process turned Sakura into a child again or something. Aside from the reference to the first chapter, there's also a big reference to the latest XXXHOLiC chapter. |

I'm totally with you Kineta. A lot of people here are getting really tired about the past, but you guys need to realize that what happened in the past is the most important part of solving this whole complicated puzzle of this clone business (how/when they were created), and it really all comes back to R!Syaoran and the choice he made. And we are getting a direct look into it. |
| omg Kineta that's one crazy theory which could very well be true, but I do see a flaw. why would Fei put the seal on her in the first place if it was her he wanted to save? no, I'm pretty sure he wants to save someone else. but... this is so sad! Poor Syaoran... seeing that huge seal and not being able to do anything about it... awww... nooo! i don't really want to see how this ends if it's going to end sadly... |

| Whoa, shades of déjà vu! I really like the pacing or styles of the last couple of chapters – jumping from flashbacks to the present moment – it brakes up the monotony of several chapters of straight flashbacks. It also seems that things are finally picking up and I fear that "history" would repeat itself or rather it would be a foreshadowing of the future with C!Syaoran. It's also good to see cameos of CCS!Syaoran again and CCS!Sakura – even if their faces are conveniently covered again. Regardless, I'm looking forward to the next chapter! |

| hmmm, well I'm guessing with the 200th chapter and the bday party everything is going to hit the fan next time. I do hope we get to see the rest of the crew again as well. I miss Kuro-pyon. >.< Also, I really like the way this and Holic are fitting together recently. So interesting... |

| I understand the importance of the flashbacks and all, but I am getting a little sick of them. I don't know why, but they make it harder and harder for me to get caught up in the story. That is pretty cool about the similarities between this chapter and chapter 1. It's confuzzling me even more though, lol. I'm really hoping that the next chapter will be a big turning point. Although all the mystery in the flashbacks interesting, I'd really like to get back to the present time. I miss my Fai. XD I am fearing for the end though. It seems like it will end sadly, and several of the characters will probably meet tragic fates. |

| Hell yeah!!! You all got your points guys.. I dunno how this will end up but really I like the way how CLAMP is cooking the ending of both series...this appears to be one of a hella big ending for a hella EPIC manga... And the end of this wonderful Universe Green |

For second, that theory does make a perfect sense. (reposting my post from holic thread) Hum, so Syaoran's good at cooking, Watanuki's good at cooking. Their food they made taste like made by their fathers. My theory is that all Clow-Bloodline men are good at cooking. Clow passes on the cooking skills to his descendants> CCS!Syaoran's father passes on the cooking skills to CCS!Syaoran. CCS!Syaoran passes on the cooking skills to TRC!Syaoran. TRC!Syaoran passes on the cooking skills to...Watanuki? For one I think that Watanuki is TRC!Syaoran's son. And TRC!Syaoran is FWR. To be exact, two futures would reffer to the two different outcomes of Syaoran's life. One where he becomes FWR and one where he does not. The choices should lead only to one of these futures, but Syaoran, in past, chose something in the way, so both futures became equally possible. Syaoran of Future1 never met TRC!Sakura and married another woman out there. Their child was Watanuki. He inherited the talent to cook from father and inability to taste the food from mother. As FWR plan comes into play F1!Syaoran asks Watanuki to not disappear, as he and his wife die. Watanuki finds himself in now-merged(due to FWR "invading" and making Syaoran chose something that makes both futures possible) Future1-Future2. With his existence hanging on a very fragile balance, he goes to Yuuko with a wish, which should make the possibility of non-merged, one-future. A wish, which, unknowingly to him, would make him make a choice later on too. The same how his father had to make a choice. Syaoran of Future2 met TRC!Sakura and married her. However Sakura passes away and F2!Syaoran is bent on getting her back, goes all the way of FWR and after ~40 years enacts his plans to somehow revive his Sakura by messing with space-time. The choice Watanuki will make, as well as actions of TRC group will decide which of inevitable futures will happen, as both futures are revealed as being not-happy. |
