| Well, Rachel is mad as hell and she's not going to take it anymore!!!! As a native Manhattanite, it's fun to watch the series and note the authenticity of the city, the inaccuracies, and also what the artists are trying hard to nail. For instance, Claire's neighborhood looks like the south Bronx in the 90s, but because they took the A,C, or E train, she clearly lives in Brooklyn. Nothing was right about the 5 train or the station it departed from, but the Chambers Street train station that Kate and Rose were in looks exactly like that in real life! I am loving the hell out of this series. I started watching it a few years ago, but missed so many episodes and only saw bits and pieces of other episodes that I gave up. I'm so happy to be re-watching it now. |

| Rachel slowly losing her mind isn't really surprising. Also, she did bring up an important point : Why is this group together ? I think it's shown in the last episode that Lise is the common link between them but that still doesn't explain why all of them went to the mansion that night. Also, props to Claire for being the smart one. They know they're going into a fight and she's still the only one who brought a weapon. Although, considering this is set in the US, maybe invest in a few guns ? Which might not work since the girl in the last episode used one and it wasn't effective, even though she shot it at point blank range. Which makes the abilities of these monsters inconsistent. Baseball bats and trucks work, but not guns ? |
