I doubt this will get a reply any time soon but can someone please explain to be why he killed his sister? I really don't get it! I mean she did seem pretty messesd up in the head.. But it could be fixed.. Like years of therapy and what-not.

That was a fantastic episode anyway, Suitengu has really stolen the show in this series. Definitely one of my favourite villains of all time.

He knew he lost her the moment he heard her. I don't know myself whether she recognized him or not, there was definitely some reaction when she heard that music box, but the key fact is: she rejected it (and therefore him and her past). She has given up, she lost any dignity and became completely absorbed in the world he grew to hate (and no, she was not messed up in the head, she simply stopped caring). So Suitengu actually ends her suffering - and his own.

Exactly. Her smile at the very end also indicated to me that she was glad for her suffering to be over.

I know this sounds rather awkward for a reply, but this is similar to Titus Andronicus. To kill her as to end her suffering. There is no other salvation for her but death. Her smile as mentioned by Kylearan is evidence to it. Rather touching scene, don't you think? And in fact, Suitengu is not much of a villain. I cannot see him as a villain. He is more like a tragic hero, cursed by human's desire and money. I truly pity him.

His sister is speaking Filipino, so she became a prostitute in the Philippines?

I wasn't sure how to feel about Suitengu until now. But he pretty much laid all his motives on the table and he was really fighting for justice this whole time. And honestly I don't think starting the club was a bad idea, because he was able to turn people's greed against them so easily. Although I disagree with creating monsters using Kagura's virus.
But anyway damn.. I was crying so hard when he killed his sister. Poor suitengu, I'm glad he can blood-bend and killed that guy.

Of course she's braindead, not like I'd expect anything else

So like, instead of trying any therapy, you just cremate her? Sounds about right

Damn this ep was so frustrating & sad af, I wasn’t expecting his sister to be in that type of setting, she was so done. It was kind of interesting seeing Suitengu cry. Can’t wait to see what happens next! But endings make me so sadd.

As sympathetic as Yui is, Suitengu isn't in the least, despite this anime trying to paint him as it. He's as self-absorbed and malicious as every other generic antagonist here, and gives no thought to whether or not Kagura wants to be roped into his agenda/one-sided "love". For all his talk about greed and corruption, he doesn't care in the least about consent, and has murdered his way to the top too. He's a decent antagonist, but I hope this anime doesn't end with him being forgiven of everything like he was just some misunderstood dude.

I understand what some of the other commenters are saying about his sister having too much trauma, rejecting the music box and how it was a mercy killing but... idk this part felt off to me. He cared so much about his sister and then finally found her and just.. killed her? He could have at least tried to help her and it just felt so unrealistic to have a character so broken that they cannot be healed/helped what so ever. After so many years would you even recognize your brother or the music box that you had years ago. Just felt heartless and not on character after all we've watched of Suitengu

Feels sad for Suitenguu's sister obviously, I didn't expect that but coming from this show it's not surprising sadly. Now Kagura the human weapon is with him

Couldn't Suitengu have just massacred everyone with his super power right after he returned to Japan just like he did in this episode? What was even the point of all his Monte-Cristo-like schemings?

Regardless, he should have been the protagonist of this anime. Instead, they wasted 90% of the show on the boring cat and mouse chase with terrible action scenes, forgettable villains and painfully vapid main duo that you neither care nor root for.
