That was bloody. Sanda needs to grow stronger if he wants to protect them. The chief director seems like a nice character. Sanda can learn a lot from her. I hope Ono won't be doing anything getting jealous of Sanda and Fuymura's relationship.

Tell me why I thought the headmistress was Fuyumura or Ono who had slept to much! xD

Anyway, great episode! I thought the fights were brilliant. The headmaster's hollow, Coralinesque eye sockets were so creepy…

And Santa comparing the headmistress to a baby made me think that the children in this world will learn to respect their elders if those same elders stop trying to look young.

The after-credits scene was bittersweet. Fuyumura had been looking for Ono this whole time, starting all of this because of her, but it seems a void has grown between them. I wonder if it's because of how close to Sanda she's gotten, or more so because of Ono's puberty.

Headmaster Oshibu's words come as a stinging insult for those who want to mature, like Ono's, with him thinking that she's far too gone for her undergoing puberty, Sanda and Amaya just hiding on the side until the former chooses to act...revealing the cyborg within him with his artificial eyes. This proves the challenge to safe Ichie Ono or risk getting captured to the St. Nick's Pursuit Unit, which the headmaster has seriously undergone so many surgeries up to the point where being a robot is better than being treated as a human. Sanda (as Santa Claus) wanting to talk this out like men, though Oshibu has enough with the bullshit of the ravages of aging enough to go against him, with the only hope that the children will sleep in order for the belief, that in turn, gives power to him.

True to popular belief, children sleeping gives Santa power, but against a full artificial cyborg like Oshibu whom he cannot defeat, and a granny that seemingly knows the latter as the rumoured Mistress-cum-Chief Director Toyo Tetsudome to interrupt their fight, it's clear who has the power dynamic even at 90 years of age for the both of them. Even her knowing of Santa Claus and his child-adult transfiguring antics, Sanda feeling powerless before her very presence, and a challenge is surely in order for him to get stronger.

Fuyumura revealing everything about Sanda to Ono, though the calm before the storm with puberty in store...it still has its shortcomings...

I get that Ooshibu is supposed to be unhinged, that's what makes him entertaining, but I just do not understand his train of logic about crying. I mean, this man is over 90 AND the headmaster of a school, yet he's going on about how adults cry more than children? Is it something that was established as a weird quirk of this story's world like the no sleeping thing, and I just missed or forgot about it?

Okay this grandma is one of the most epic I've seen haha, she's the opposite of Ooshibu ,she assumes her aging appearance and she's even stronger than him. Seems like Ono is gonna be jealous of Sanda's relationship with Fuyumura

I really underestimated how powerful the headmaster is until now. He didn’t even go all out against Santa, and he still managed to beat him even at that strength. And to our surprise, a new character showed up who was ridiculously strong for an elderly person. I guess this show taught me to never underestimate an old person.

Really good fight in this episode! Was also great seeing the anime move forward a bit with Ono back and more details about the principal. I will say it felt weird leaving Ono in that room at the end of the ep as the others went to get food---The way Ono looked as they walked away I wonder if she has envy for them still being children or if maybe she doesn't like Sanda that much?

yeah i bet those aren't vaccinations... they're gene therapies and growth/puberty hormone suppressants to keep them from growing up. the sleeping thing makes zero sense though. how would one night's sleep push somebody who's supposedly 14 into the 18+ range for body development as well as horny/procreation/sexual maturity? the Santa Curse thing was weird enough to begin with. add in a month-long typhoon and now this growing up thing?
just an ol school American otaku enjoyin the life. don't sass me kiddies, i've been otaku probably since before you were born. leave me in peace and i won't bother you either.
