Personally it's the ability to yap about something the person is PASSIONATE about, like someone who is truly passionate over literally anything, it also counts in friendship tbh but more in partner searching.

Having higher emotional intelligence and actually paying attention to how you feel. Like, when you send them a hint that you've had a bad day, they ask you what's wrong instead of being "Me too! My blender broke this morning!," followed by a 30-minute monologue about planned obsolescence of household products that you never asked for.

She SPECIFICALLY has to fucking love blenders and MUST talk about planned obsolescence of household products. It's VERY important to me.

There's nothing attractive about humans.

Ideally what i want. Normally impossible. Realistically, close to zero.

Actually no.... sometimes i just see the passionate people as a friend not a romantic partner. Now that i think about this whole scenario is doomed :(

I cant think of a way to make it work.

Proactive seduction is what I find most attractive.
No, this isn't my signature.

@ElderNerd Toasters are way superior to blenders!

@149597871 Are you sure you want a partner and not a free therapist?

@JaniSIr Well, lovers are free, therapists are not so. Man has priorities!

More seriously, it's super common and wildly annoying. I mean the blender thing.

@LoveYourSmile I don't have a blender, so can't relate.

You can't be one without being the other to an extent. It's common knowledge!

There's something wrong with that word. Probably why I've always preferred psychologists instead.

Next, I'm not too sensitive. If she comes to me with "bad day" complaints (example by @149597871 from another thread), I'll not respond with "my blender problem", but I'm not gonna listen to her whines for half an hour too - I'll just open a book or go fishing, can't stand that emo-terrorism (you know the type), not at my expense, sorry.

You're going to ignore me and go fishing?? How typical. Seriously, I'd rather hear about the blender, hmph!

But yeah, the gist of it is not making everything about yourself and you'll probably be good, even if you come out as cold at times.

Eccentricity can be extremely cute. It's a huge part of what attracted me to the last girl I dated. She was so endearingly quirky.
Take care of yourself

@149597871 Well, it's definitely not common, at least not in my non-existent circles.
Idk, I always considered needing either a character flaw. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Haha, true. Wrong things do have charm... until they ask you to lie on a couch and count backwards from 10.

Wow... just wow! My feelings being the last priority? Forget it, doesn't matter.

Sure, sure, I got the point. Totally agree - I was just exaggerating a bit, haha.

Wait what? Why would they need you to count backwards? O.o

@JaniSIr Probably referring to a common hypnotic induction pattern where "When I reach one, you'll be in deep trance and obey my every command." - before instructing you to have sex with him and not remember anything afterwards. (There were actual incidents like these in the past and many of them used to fall in a gray area of the law until recent decades.)

Therapist has a lot of tricks up his/her sleeve.

@149597871 I will need a video evidence of me doing that to believe it... This sounds too much like a plot of a bad hentai.
