| Since when demographics have anything to do with the audience's inteligence? I have seen smarter kids in school whom I teach than many internet insulters of shounen series. I'd say it is rarely/never, it's similar to music, just because a guy have long hairs doesn't mean by deffault that he's going to listen to heavy metal. |

| Kinda true in certain instances. There are times were people who consume certain things end up going on to do some messed up shit, but there's usually other variables. Mental health, poor living conditions, etc. But, saying something like "you must be dumb if you like shounen" is a dumber action than watching shounen stuff will ever be. Especially if you aren't just trolling and actually believe that. By that logic, I could say everyone who doesn't watch shounen is an asshole just because I've seen several people shit talk shounen fans. |

| Insulting someone's intelligence because of the demographic a show they like was made for is stupid. There can be stuff made for younger audiences that have deep themes or solid writing, and stuff made for adults that just falls flat on it's face and only uses surface level stuff to try and appeal to people. That being said i fit the stereoype of the Queer person who loves Jojo's Bizarre Adventure as i am both pansexual and trans lmao. |
