| That Kyouka guy is very intimidating but seems like a helpful guy to be around with because of his unique abilities. Glad to see this adaptation made Yomogi look tough, even in this episode. I know the Kyoto thing got a bit out of control but they still got hope with these guys on the frontlines. |

| It seems we are finally going to see more of the other Shiki's classmates abillities, last episode with the green haired guy, and now with Kuina. But first, I must say the battle between the Momotarou and the Doctor guy was a bit disappointing, he didn't really do much, and I don't even know how Jin was able to get so ahead of them, since they didn't take much time. I wonder what that needle with the blue liquid would have done. Kyouya isn't dead, but I'm not sure what they did to him. However, this did show the power of these 2, and how desperate the situation for the Oni is. Thankfully, they were able to make most of the Oni that were down there escape, but somehow Mei, the kid, wasn't a priority for them, that's questionable for sure. I'm starting to question the destiny of this child, knowing how Tsubakiri uses Oni children for his experiments... We also got to see more of Kuina and Rokuro, and they have quite a bit of a personality. Rokuro falls more into the "coward" type that has been more common in anime nowadays, but I must say, I quite liked his dialogue this episode, it was certainly the highlight of the episode. I'm curious to see what's his Blood power, and if he's ending up helping Kuina in the next episode. Kuina on the other hand has quite an unique power, since she can make enemies give up on fighting, and then use her bloody box gloves to smash enemies, quite interesting, and honestly fitting for her character, since she's portrayed as an overly obsessed over the ones she loves. The dynamic between these 2 must be interesting throughout the show. However, when I thought the fanservice for this anime would stay only in the assets of the female characters, it seems I was wrong, since they pratically made Kuina fight against that Ugly naked, and with how big her assets are, it just feels weird honestly, and it's off putting. Probably one of the worst things of the show. Also, for the first time, I felt like this episode was a bit slow, I don't know, but if things continue like this, I feel like this arc is going to take over the rest of this cour, and we're only on episode 7. I'm really glad we are getting 2 cours for this anime (recently confirmed), since it seems if we only got 1 cour, we would probably only wrap this arc and wouldn't do much more than that. They are insisting a lot in Mei, and I wonder why, is she going to be a relevant character later on, or is it just for the shock factor if something happens to her later? Either way, this episode did feel a bit slow, and that's not something I tend to complain about. We just didn't get anything much other than Kuina's fight, that wasn't that greatly animated. Also, why did they just let that first Ugly kill that Oni from the start of the invasion? They just stood there. Anyways, I'm curious to see how this will develop, because there's no way any of the students can beat Yomogi. Edit: Just to make it clear, even if the episode felt a bit slow, I'm glad they are taking their time to showcase the characters and explore them better, and being honest, the 2nd part of the episode really went by fast, since the introduction of Kuina and Rokuro was really interesting. |

| Kuina got that overly-protective "wife" side effect, a classic "it should have been me!" episode The acutal story of the show is pretty bland, so they're better off just making it less serious and more comedic/fanservice at this point. |

| I don't get this anime The pace, the story, the characters are all over the place. The first episode was kinda intriguing but after that we go the obligatory "good guy" association with all the classic school, exam and shonen troupes. Fine i guess? not really groundbreaking but let's see what they are cooking. But it is abruptly interrupted by what seems to be a "end of season final arc" story....at episode 5? we got the top enemies from the start and that's it? ok weird but let's see where this is going... nowhere without proper explanation of the world, the power dynamics, the characters.... the stakes and the investment is incredibly poor should i care when "random guy #53453 get killed? should i care even if one of the "students" get killed? we barely know them why take nobodies to such an life or death mission for the whole organization? are they already that desperate? i guess but they didn't show us And all that "telle don't show" out of the screen voice in episode 7 was so cheap and annoying. the gag comedy of the students when all around them their "comrades" are getting killed is silly and annoying. Am i supposed to take them seriously? this series is a big disappointment for now the score is about 5 or 6 |

| The way they let the thing casually stroll in and snack on a dude while watching in bewilderment was one of the most absurd things I've scene in a while. Sickly dude couldn't gotten paired with someone better. |

| I think... Kuina sweating scene are more sexier in the manga... I thought Rokuro is going to show his power in this episode, looks like I'm wrong. Hope the doctor okay.... The next episode is the last manga chapter of Tougen Anki I've red before I'm On hold it. |
