Can someone explain that clown face paint aesthetic? Like on the character from Dandadan, for example. I don't get it - is it supposed to be cute, or fun, or sexy? Do girls actually wear makeup like that in school? To me it just looks goofy, like you'd be ridiculed for looking like that.
