| Man, Marie can be a bit more sensitive. At least she seems to get along with Cyrus' mother at this point. The episode is fine but it's obvious she's more conscious about Cyrus every time they see each other. This episode was so fluffy till that end. |

| The fact Liu Liu calls herself an imperfect mother when embracing Marie like that 🥲 So good for Marie that someone appreciates her skills, gives her credit and that she can experience what parental love is like. That was a nice scene. But a mother gotta be somewhat strict, too. Liu Liu is the right one to teach Marie about proper etiquette and stuff. |

| Liu Liu mom of the season oh my goodness she had me on the verge of tears today. The way she’s already a better mom in just a few hours that she’s spent with Marie than Marie’s own biological mother in a lifetime. I felt so giddy seeing Marie getting praised for learning other languages for once! “Women are not baby birds, don’t trap her in a cage” nah this is so well written and healthy I love it! The author really knows how to handle abuse and overcoming that trauma. Kyros obviously has good intentions, but you don’t want to smother Marie and take away her autonomy either. Speaking of biological parents, I love how Kyros looked into the possibility that Marie wasn’t the Shaderan’s actual daughter. Dude is so emotionally intelligent I fucking love it. Most dumb male love interests would’ve just been confused and left it as is before some big plot reveal, but he proactively pursues this stuff. Hard to believe someone could actually birth a child and be that cruel to them. I still think there’s more to the story because she does have different hair than her parents.. I’m sure there’ll be a twist. On the bright side, it’s hard to hear her say her parents hate her, but I’m glad Marie is realising that what she went thru wasn’t normal and that that isn’t how parents should treat their children. The fault lies with them, not her. This show’s worst kept secret, Anastasia is alive, but she looks BAD. wtf have her parents done to her?? That ending was so creepy. Can’t wait for more answers! |

| The ending of this episode was ominous, alright. It looked like Anastasia had been turned into a doll, or sort of, which doesn't really suit this anime's vibe, so maybe she is in a comatose state? But no matter what, I hope she also gets her peace (be it in whatever shape), because she obviously treated Marie well. Liu Liu was a very good mother in this! I'm so happy Marie finally got a chance to cry out all her feelings~. |

| If you go back and read my comment on the first episode, you’ll see I didn’t take this anime seriously at all. But oh my God — it’s genuinely amazing! I truly mean that! Within its genre and classification — wow. I’m honestly impressed. Sure, the story is technically recycled, but the execution is incredibly engaging. This is a message to the extremely disappointing anime My Happy Marriage: Learn! Seriously, learn from other anime! See how you can write a show with compelling and logical dialogue and plot points that actually respect the viewer’s intelligence! Believe me, I could go on and on about this episode. I already wrote 2,000 words about it to one of my friends! So I’ll try to keep it short here. The relationship between Kairos and Mary continues to develop as expected, but what really stood out this episode was Mary’s own growth and maturity — absolutely stunning! And the credit goes to Leo Leo! (Fun fact: I call her Lulu! In Arabic, “lulu” means pearl, and honestly, she really lives up to that name.) She’s the most beautiful character in the show — the best, the classiest! Followed closely by her successor Miu. (Not that Miyo from My Happy Marriage, just to be clear — you get the message.) I won’t lie — I wouldn’t mind placing Lulu among the best female characters of 2025, at least if we set aside second seasons of shows like Mao Mao and other famous female characters. I think Leo Leo, even with her limited screen time, delivered a stellar performance. Sorry for the long rant, but I just love this show and had to write more. Don’t mind me! | I think it's safe to assume Liu Liu is happy to find out that Marie has the brains as well as the looks. Being surrounded by loving family made her realize how abusive her upbringing was. Did the mom go mad? Is she treating the son as the elder sister? Or was that a doll? |

| Warm and fuzzy. This is one of those episodes, with some comedy for good measure, and a bit of mystery. First up, the beauties. Marie, the cutest:  Then, arguably the best mom of the season, Liu Liu  But quite simply, and I'm saying this again: THE BEST MAID of this whole season, Mio  While Marie does need to experience a lot of things, Kyros also needs some training when it comes to love things. |

| This anime is so sweet! I started tearing up when Liu Liu comforted Marie and told her it’s okay to cry. I think this was more impactful because she’s never had a good mother figure. Kyros is a beaming example of a son raised by someone who genuinely loved him. Kyros is so cuuuuute when it comes to Marie! I hope they get to spend some time alone together soon <3 The Shaderan fam is fucking insane, but this is no mystery. |

| Alright, this has really taken a terrifying turn, with Anastasia’s glare at us right before the ending, where she looks exactly like Tiffany, Chucky’s wife from the 1998 horror movie. I certainly did not expect such a creepy ending, especially given the fluffy vibes so far. Speaking of fluffy vibes, I don’t blame Marie one bit for crying like a baby on Liuliu’s shoulder. I can’t really empathize with her since I’ve never written a letter before, so I have no idea how it feels to write your very first one with your own name. Nevertheless, I still cried right along with her for some reason, probably just out of pity, honestly. That said, I’ve got to say how proud I am of Marie now that she doesn’t give a single eff about her abusive parents anymore. I’m genuinely proud of her growth. Speaking of growth, as Kyros said, no matter how much Marie was bullied, she thought it was natural because she believed she wasn’t cute at all. But now, she’s gained enough self-confidence to know her own worth and value, and enough mental fortitude to distinguish between discipline and abuse. She now understands her parents’ true feelings toward her, which gives her every right to never see them again or ever do anything for them again. |

| That ending was genuinely creepy. They went insane over there it seems. But I dig it, can't wait to see where that goes. And Liu Liu for the win of course. But I don't quite understand what Maries family actually wants. They sent her off to get married to him after her sister died, right? Did they expect her to marry him and then go back to be their slave or what? |

| Wow....Marie was clever and knew right away her father's letter was a lie. And she's got some confidence back that she realized she wasn't treated well and admitted so right back at Kyros without flinching/wincing. You go girl! If I was in her shoes I'd take way longer to get through such traumatizing treatment like that. Regarding the end: I didn't know (or forgot) Marie has a younger brother....my 1st guess based on the foreshadowing (aka: the rementioning of the brother) is that the mother might have forced/brainwashed the younger brother to "replace" Anastasia....as twisted as that sounds, but the mother definitely has lost some screws up there that I can totally see her doing that....(especially if the father also is too busy and doesn't realize what she's done/doing) I didn't consider the possibility that it was a "doll"....but HHMMmmmm..... EDIT: by the way...kinda shocked that Marie was "definitely their child" I mean, on the one hand -yay it's not another overly used cliche- but on the other hand it's odd that she looks so different to the rest of the family (the hair color)....have to wonder where those genes are from... |
