| That death game had an interesting start. Too bad Keigo's not the best game designer and ouroboros failed right when it began. The retooled version should be much more fun. Even while his arm was so long it had to be used as a sash, Tenryu had to keep hitting the hand on hat pose... That's dedication! |

| uhm, yeah, such a cold opening with that kind of scary board game concept was a little too abrupt. And in fact... it became sillier and sillier as the minutes went by until it was revealed Keigo's was the mastermind and not a forced player as everyone else, plus Nico was just acting as the kidnapped person. Second half slightly less entertaining but it still worked, and of course Nico at the very end double down on making the situation worse. Cool to see Kara again. |

| Magic in most anime is usually so boring. Witch Watch is actually utilizing such high potential to make things fun and interesting. And all the concepts so far have just been so creative. Like fixing a boring death game? Where do they even get these ideas, and I hope they don't stop. |

| Of all things, I wasn't expecting a fucking Saw parody in this anime. It was getting so good too. I wish they had actually gone through with the updated game plan and shown them play it instead of ending it right there. Keigo being Jig-jag was a good twist. I thought it'd be Miharu's father for some reason lol. Now the 2nd part was even crazier. So the student council president can unequip his hat after all. But he still keeps holding it... I get that he can't just throw it away but it really feels like his hand is permanently attached to that hat. How the hell does this guy even shower and take a shit... Anyway, I'm really loving the comedy-focused episodes. It just keeps getting better and better, especially after the introduction of the newer characters. Gives me some Maison Ikkoku vibes but crazier. Also, I had no idea Rie Takahashi voices Kara. She has such a great range. |
