| I feel alone in this but this episode underwhelmed me a lot. Maybe because I stalled the anime for a few weeks so it's been a while since I last watched? The farewell was touching for sure, but it all felt so abrupt. It felt like the arc needed more space. I dunno, maybe Tsumugi just didn't do much for me. So far I preferred Kamome's arc, although that one didn't land a home run for me either. All-in-all the series feels very "Key" but like it's missing the magic that made their earlier shows so emotional. As it is it just seems sentimental for the sake of it. I'm also not 100% sure I understood what happened. The real Tsumugi got "spirited away" so her stuffed animal became a spirit animal and lived Tsumugi's life for a while, but for some reason people slowly started to forget her? Tsumugi's childhood friend finally gave spirit Tsumugi (the bear) freedom which granted her a summer to live her own life but she has no life to live... why she gotta go though? Why does she return only in the summer? No matter, if nothing else I understand the sentimentality of summer love and how fleeting they can be. It really does always seem to happen in the summer. And when summer is gone, so is she. :( mugyu. |

| I kinda feel like a jerk but I didn't like this episode. The last ep was solid and this was just, I don't know too saccharine for my tastes. Looking forward to the next mystery/girl. |
