| HOLY SHIT, Haitani still being the GOAT of the story! Please, even if this gets axed (I really hope it doesn't because I'm really loving this series so far) Haitani needs to have another story (I was going to say spin off, but he's the main character so I think that'd constitute as one lol). Some extremely intense art, Haitani pulling a ping pong and telling his opponent he's playing (well laughing) out of the fun he's currently having, and some great exchanges between characters. Very engaging and fun chapter, I need more! |
| I felt like this chapter was pretty fast paced. This time that’s good! Some expressive art as always, and the crowd being bored is very ironic lol. I think a golden rule of most sports anime should be to ‘never stop moving.’ I get that this is supposed to be the main character confronting this arc’s opposing force, but if two players with a history of being rivals were to do this in the middle of an actual game, it wouldn’t look cool. It’d look stupid. But maybe I’m looking at this wrong. Haitani is literally supposed to be the wall that nobody can surpass, and to be honest, he’s been playing that role well. I as the reader can see him as being nearly-impenetrable. |
