I was optimistic post ch. 154, then the month went by and my optimism started to waver a bit for a few reasons, and then the news Ichikawa did poorly on a mock exam, and that panel of Yamada hiding behind the library door made me sad and uneasy. And then the turnaround!!! Peak cuteness the rest of the way! Yamada is so adorable, and the fact she wants to see Ichikawa so badly is sweet. Ichikawa is cute too, really glad he didn't resist, he needs Yamada with him to work harder, but also to relax.

The panel where they saw each other after Yamada left her apartment: honestly, one of the sweetest of the series, no cap. With the overarching context and uneasy situation, their faces really do show they love each other so much. And then the cliffhanger (?), has got me super excited for the next one! I have wanted an intimate heart-to-heart scene behind closed doors for months, so seeing it closer than ever has me hoping for the best. No matter what we get, I bet its going to be beautiful!

Btw, no shot they do the deed, it's too soon for that. More likely we get a hug and/or kiss, maybe Ichikawa spends the night, or better yet, maybe he finally calls Yamada "Anna" to her face, with no stuttering. She might figuratively die then, of pure happiness. One can only dream and eagerly look forward :)

Sorry, one more thing: Wantaro is the best wingman character for Ichikawa and Yamada in the series. Not Moeko, not Onee, not Suwa, argue with a wall. Thank you and good night/morning/afternoon. Two weeks can't come sooner!

They have Anna's apartment all to themselves with her folks away, I'm hopeful for some actual romance next chapter.

Getting a bit tired of the "oh of course I can never see you" stuff.

Also, it seems like being around Anna actually helps Kyotaro's academic performance, he needs to wake up to this!

That last bit is totally spot on! I hope Ichikawa finally puts two and two together and realize like him with Yamada and her acting/modeling, she improves his performance when he can be with her. Another reason on the long list why they’re an incredible couple.

Maybe they’ll talk about that next time 👀

@Softhenic03 Hopefully not lol. They're only 14 and 15; they shouldn't be rushing things. To be honest though, I don't think Kyou "has the balls" to go all the way in such circumstances. And I mean in Yamada's house while her parents are gone.
