| Rewatched the premiere episode in dub since I liked the dub for Tower of God far more when watching the first season than the Japanese version. Yuri sounded weird for me in the Japanese version this season (while sounding one of the best in season 1), but luckily she was still as good in the English dub. Ja Wangnan probably sounds a bit stiff in the dub and a bit more deeper and older with the voice than imagined but not shabby. Rest of the dub was solid enough. I will say, as much as I like Baam's English voice far more than the Japanese one in season 1, as Jue Viole Grace in season 2, the Japanese voice does catch up since it doesn't sound annoying to listen to much. The English audio continues to thrive without any localization of names unlike the Japanese version. Hearing Yoru or other versions of other people's names do annoy me so the English version sticking with the manhwa names is a big plus as usual. Nothing to do with the dub but watching it again made me see some details a bit clearly and while I can live with the ramen part being a food there to consume, was annoyed by the Japanese letter a bit that the loan shark Lurker handed to Wangnan there. For a series that is great with its world building, understand that the manhwa has the letter written in a different language to get readers to understand those list of points but it would have been cooler for the anime to subtitle them and have the letter be in a different language. It did feel somewhat immersion-breaking there for a series that boasts top-tier world building like this. OP and ED songs were never my favorite but the Japanese versions do sound better than the English versions. I do admire the group for putting out multiple versions for their respective language versions like what season 1 had with the artist doing Japanese, Korean and English versions of openings and endings for the respective language that is being seen. The effort in that sense is there, even if the songs themselves aren't ones I particularly enjoy or find close to my taste. |
| I had to rewatch the entire previous season because I had forgotten so many things. The change in animation style is noticeable; I'm not sure if it's for the better, but we'll have to get used to it. There was a time jump from the first season, but I hope they explain a bit about Baam's transformation. And what’s with him being a Prince of Zahard? Does Ja Wangnan have some connection to the royal family, considering he has a ring with Zahard's symbol? This series has so much lore and many interesting characters that I doubt the anime will catch up with the manhwa. Regardless, I loved the first season and hope this one is as good or even better. | So that is season 2, in advance of watching season 2 I did binge rewatch the first thing. Why just start an entirely new story instead of answering questions from season 1? ...and will my beloved cast ever return? I nevertheless think that was a good start. the drastic change of the artstyle, was nothing but a shock, the rough 2D style of season one was really something unique which added a lot of atmosphere. now it looks like any other anime in the world. I'm not sure if the style of season 1 wasn't more cost efficient than the one from season 2 here. |

| So apparently there was a time skip from the cliffhanger of S1 and I'm assuming that we'll get to see what happened to not just Yuro (or Bam) but to the other characters as this season progresses. Regarding this episode, for whatever reason Ja reminded Yoru of Khun and Yoru also had flashbacks of Rachel so Ja was barely able to pass due to Yoru's hesitations. I'm not sure what to make of the other new characters but it was nice to see princess Yuri again and some of her "sisters" but I'm curious to see what happened to Rachel, Anaak, Endorsi, and the other characters. |

| i will go through the posts here later for sure - but right after watching 1st ep, i can say that i actually liked more animation in the previous season by another studio (no fancy shades, just super 2d colors etc). not sure about the story yet, looks offtopic-ish, not what i expected. but still gonna wait to see what comes next! |

| Not gonna lie I've forgotten what the story was about lol. Only thing I remember was Rachel pushing off Bam. The fighting animation looked good in this episode, but I've seen posts about this season's animation lol, can't wait to see how bad it's going to be later. |

| Expected but can't get my mind off how the art style is a downgrade, really wish this could've kept the style of S1. Still it's great ToG is getting some continuation at least, since a while after S1 looked like the anime project had been totally abandoned. I guess the original version somewhat was? And this new version is simply taking its place, but continuing where it left off. Still, nice to have a continuation at least. |

| It changes a lot from Season 1! I did not recognize Bam until almost the end of the episode. It seems he has nothing against Rachel but he blames who runs the tower. Art style is normal, season 1 had a very different style but I prefer this common one, I never liked S1 artstyle. Not a bad episode, also there is some comedy. I hope it'll get intriguing over the season. Watching them start from the beginning feels something already seen. |
