 The official X account of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga revealed the staff and key visual (pictured) for the anime adaptation of his Monsters one-shot manga on Friday. The anime will stream worldwide on Netflix in January 2024. Amazon Prime Video will also stream it in Japan. Monsters will have a duration of one television anime episode.Staff Character Design: Takashi Kojima (Heike Monogatari) Art Director: Fuminao Akai (Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu) Color Design: Ryouji Nagasawa (Jikan no Shihaisha) Director of Photography: Ju-Mi Lee (Ryuu to Sobakasu no Hime) Editing: Keisuke Yanagi (Jujutsu Kaisen) Music: Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Tokyo Revengers) Music Producer: Tateki Kobayashi (Dr. Stone) Sound Director: Akiko Fujita (Revenger) Seong-Hu Park (Jujutsu Kaisen, The God of High School) is directing and handling the series composition at his new animation studio E&H Production. Oda published the short story in the 1994's Autumn Special issue of the Weekly Shounen Jump special edition, which was later included in the Wanted! one-shot compilation manga. | I envy authors like Oda in a good way. Their reputation and hype are so high that even their one-shots can get a full-fledged adaptation. |
