| 75% of the way through the series and it still isn't clear why Rentarou loves these girlfriends other than the the plot making them soulmates. He mentions loving Kusuri's passion for science, and I seem to recall him talking about what draws him to Shizuka, but the other three? As a result, I find myself not really caring about the breakup twist because the show hasn't given us a reason to believe in their relationship. If he only "loves" Hakari because not loving her will kill her, that isn't really love at all. I will say that I appreciate someone in-universe finally calling out the ridiculousness of someone dating five girls at once...and said girls being supportive! There are enough laughs to keep me from dropping completely, but it's been a close call each episode. |
| damn, second half became dark all of a sudden. And Hakari's mother has current Lum and Alya's same voice? Didn't notice. First half wasn't the best this series had to offer but had its moments... Karane's "misinterpreting" the rules in her favor and not taking part of "saving" Shizuka as example for her own "reasons". |

| The episode started as silly as usual but it turned serious the second half. I pressed dislike just because I did not like what's happening to Hakari. Her mother is a bitch. In fairness though, her mother is one hot MILF. |

| A dark turn in this love story. Time to rescue Hakari out of her mother's grasp. All the girls and Rentaro are motivated. You love to see it. |

| Well, even though that Hakari shared that photo with everyone, only she was in a wedding dress. So I guess it really did work out well for her in the end? And her mother, seriously WTF? I’ve heard of overprotective mothers, but this goes way beyond simply being over protective! And it’s quite clear that she’s mentally ill. Because only a mentally ill person would even do one of those things, let alone all of them. |
| Rentarou's rant about the significance of love would have more credence if the circumstances of its materialisation weren't so visibly superficial. He meets one of his "destined" soulmates, then a mutual spark instantaneously manifests a mutual attraction between them, without any prior interaction or exchange of psyches. |

Hakari's mother Hahari lowkey right tho her daughter is dating someone with 4 other girls 😭, knowing Rentarou tho he goin convince her to date him as well. |

| Ahh Hakari, why do you have to hide everything from everyone? A little open conversation n all but no, Damsel much.. Come on now, they just had to resort to this cliche, huh? On other side, Rentaro got his resolve straight up, no more wallowing in his own weaknesses n sht and of course, everyone's on the same page. Although, Karane is the one who stand out the most in this episode. Such a based reply. |
